I got this from my middle daughter. She and her younger sister, really love video games in general, as does the whole family, but they are particularly drawn to anything that looks like it might even remind them of something retro. I knew she would love this one, so I grabbed it for her.The screen is relatively big for something like this, I definitely remember smaller screens growing up. It is in color and the rendering is actually pretty decent. You aren’t left. Trying to figure out what you’re looking at. The animation is pretty clean and I’m overall really impressed with the visuals. we haven’t noticed any bugs or anything – I have in similar set ups so I did want to make a note of that.There’s a very decent selection of games and they cover multiple categories. There will be something for everyone. I would think, with 139 choices, that there would be at least a few somethings for everyone, but some people can be pretty picky. I think it’s safe to say that there will be at least one though.Best of all, on the parent side: it’s rechargeable. I don’t know about you, but with multiple kids, I started veering away from battery operated items years ago. I hate the cost, I hate the trouble and hassle of replacing them, making sure I have enough of what I need, it’s just a hassle all around. So wherever I can, I do try to avoid batteries. If all things are equal, I will always choose the thing that is rechargeable so that it is the only cost associated with it and I do not have to worry about making sure that there are fresh batteries in it all the time. Between my children, my husband and I, we already have way too many things that have batteries in them Dash the last thing I want to do is add another if I don’t have to. The fact that I am able to recharge the system and not have to purchase batteries to run. It is a huge factor for me, I don’t know about others, but for me, it’s a big one.I’m really pleased with this handheld system. My daughter loves it. It’s rechargeable, compact, has a great selection… There are tons of positives here and I have not run across one negative so far. I think it’s a great gift for kids who tend to like , these styles of games, especially because it’s not just one more thing to connect to the Internet. In an arrow we’re almost all gaming systems are, it’s a nice reprieve. My daughter loves it, so I’m happy.

So my 4yr old niece loved it. For kids, it's great. I didn't care for it. It feels very cheap but so far it's held up.
