Did not Work despite my advanced skill level
Let me start by explicitly stating that I'm very experienced with computers and I'm probably more so than 99% of the population. I build my own computers and design and build elaborate, watercooled custom computers and workstations for content creators and gamers as a side business, I have designed, installed, and managed networks for small and medium businesses (including 10GBase-T networks), have taken programming at the under-graduate level. I mention all of this for the sole reason of establishing the fact that anyone who happens to read this [negative] review can be 99.99% sure that my problems with the product in question are not due to user error, inexperience or general ignorance with respect to computers. With that said let's begin with the prologue:A few years ago I won a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 in an online giveaway and although it is a very nice machine it only came with a 64GB embedded Drive so there's not much space; in fact the Windows 10 OS consumes nearly all of that space. Unfortunately because it's an embedded drive it cannot be changed or upgraded and the only means of expansion available on the Surface Pro is the integrated MicroSD slot, but this has its drawbacks. Micro SD cards or about a fifth as fast as a normal SATAIII solid state drive, have a limited amount of total reads and writes before they fail and anyone with a capacity above 128gb is much more expensive than a typical solid state drive per gigabyte. This essentially left me with one single option to use the surface Pro's loan USB 3.0 port to connect an external drive of my own making with a USB 3.0 Drive enclosure and a new Samsung Evo 860 500GB solid state drive.Once I had to drive connected naturally I wanted to migrate everything from the embedded Drive to the external one with the exception of the Windows 10 OS which would benefit from the embedded drives lower latency and the fact that the OS would be the only program and data on the drive. While the Samsung Drive came with migration software it only allows for the migration of the hard drive and its entirety and does not allow you to decide on what to migrate on a program to program basis, requiring me to find different software to achieve this goal.I decided to download a free trial of a program called Migrate Easy by Acronis. After installing the program it prompted me to restart the computer which is a normal process for most programs once they're installed. As the computer restarts and the surface logo splash screen appears (prior to Windows 10 loading) the computer freezes and I am forced to do a hard shutdown. Upon starting the computer again it automatically loads the Windows 10 recovery and repair options.Unfortunately because I was so strapped for free drive space I had disabled automatic backup and Recovery buy Windows 10 in order to save some space on the drive so I could not simply reload a recovery image. Luckily I had migrated all of my personal files to the external drive prior to this incident and so quickly came to the conclusion that a fresh installation of Windows 10 was necessary and if unavoidable to format and clean the embedded drive. I've done this many times before with various versions of windows, but because I'm currently in the process of building myself a new desktop computer I have no other computer from which to create an installation USB drive for Windows 10 (though I did try every possible option for creating an installation/recovery USB on my android smart phone, but discovered that a USB drive cannot be reformatted to FAT32, a requisite for creating a bootable windows 10 usb, or have an ISO written to a USB drive without the android phone being rooted, something I've done to my previous phones, but that requires the phone being connected to a computer in order to complete the root, so obviously that was a dead end).Like any human alive today in need of a product I immediately search Amazon and found this one and while there were some negative reviews (I had mostly dismissed them and attributed it to the reviewer's probable lack of ability and knowledge with computers) there were enough positive ones for me to decide on trying it.Booting from a USB is a straightforward process of first entering the BIOS and selecting to boot from USB, there's not very much to it. Well I'm disappointed to say that after numerous attempts I could not successfully get the computer to boot from this Windows 10 installation and Recovery USB drive. While I am not sure of the specific reason for its failure due to the fact that I do not have a working computer and cannot inspect the contents of the Recovery USB, it's probably one of the following issues:(1) the USB drive is not correctly formatted to FAT32(2)The drive was corrupted by the seller or whomever made it(3)The wrong files were placed on the drive(4) the Creator did not make the drive using the correct process which is not as simple as merely dragging and dropping the files onto the drive(5)This is a premeditated scam to knowingly sell a device that cannot accomplish its stated goalNow assuming that the positive reviews are legitimate, it is possible that by mistake I received a drive that was damaged, corrupted, or made in error. If I could I would connect the drive to a working computer and inspect and analyze it to determine the specific cause but because I recently moved to a new area I do not have any friends locally available to use their computer. However I am considering going to the local computer repair store and asking them if they could take a look at it. If I end up doing this I will be sure to update this review with the results and findings of that analysis.

It worked for me!
I accepted a task to repair my in-law’s computer that would not boot or repair itself. It was a Dell, originally installed with Win7 Home but upgraded (by download) to Win10. There was no install disk or Win10 product code. The USB arrived sooner than expected and after re-configuring the bios to boot from the usb, I was pleasantly surprised. A new, clean, copy of Win10 was installed, activated and operating… plus the old c drive folders and files were saved in a separate folder, sweet!I can now return the machine to my in-laws with all their data intact. They just have to reinstall any software they added to computer.FYI - I skipped entering the product code when it asked Don’t forget to reset the bios back to booting from your hard drive on your first reboot after the repair. The directions were a little light.

GREAT!
USB Flash Drive worked as advertised. Allowed me to boot up and restore my computer. But you must have a Drive Image or Backups in order to restore, fortunately I had both and was up and running again in no time. Best money I've spent in a long time. If all you need is a tool to help you boot up in order to install or repair the OS that's already on your computer, this tool will work for you.

Seems to have worked
So I'm fairly computer literate - I was getting BSOD and various boot system errors on a PC just over a year old - I did a full clean Win 10 reinstall including backing up my files and wiping everything - this reduced the incidence but didn't cure it - in the days of non physical media I nearly bought a whole new physical copy of Win 10 - and my bad I didn't create any system restore media - but who does? - Tried this and while the instructions could be clearer esp for those unfamiliar with PCs - working the start-up menu in BIOS etc., 3 days out and no more BSOD's so far.

Did not work!
I guess I misunderstood the product. I was assuming since this product stated "Reinstall Recovery Repair Restore" that it would have the drivers to reinstall Windows 10. All this does is boot up the machine and then you have to get the drivers from another source. Not at all what I thought I was purchasing.

It works!
My PC would no longer run (Windows 10) due to the fact that the hard drive was dying. I searched all over looking for a solution and landed on this one because of the price and because it seemed easy and low-risk.To me, the overall installation was pretty straightforward. With that said, this solution may not be for everyone. In my case, since the original hard drive was dead, I knew that I would need to install a new hard drive and do a clean Windows install. To do so, you need to be comfortable with getting into the hardware of the machine and replacing the hard drive. You also need to be able to navigate through some 'backend' screen interfaces that most users are probably not familiar with. If you can do that - then the installation is pretty much a piece of cake.I went into this purchase feeling like I had nothing to lose - and it worked!

Great product, even better technical service!
One of my PCs ended up with a corrupt Windows file that wouldn't allow me to boot (blue screen). I used the Windows-provided applications to attempt to salvage the computer, but to no avail, so I ordered the EzaLink USB recovery thumb drive (USB). I couldn't get the thumb drive to work on my PC, so I contacted tech services at EzaLink who worked with me. When we couldn't make it work together, they promptly shipped me a replacement DVD that worked like a dream. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the technical support I received from EzaLink regarding my purchase of the Windows Repair USB/Disk.

Only experts enter here
The product is worthless unless you are a computer expert. Instructions are only for those who are fully knowledgable on computers and all the menus. Like I know if my computer has "Legacy BIOS" and I have no idea how to locate the "Compatibility Support Module". Perhaps a video included on the drive or a YouTube video reference in the instructions would help.
