Perfect replacement

Our Vitamix has not been working properly. Motor works, but it doesnt grind anything! Few youtube video suggested that driver socket might be a problem. Ordered it, got it the next day and replaced the old driver socket with new and the Vitamix worked right away!!!!! Saved me $$$

Was very hard to get it on. O almost returned it thinking it wouldn't fit. My husband got it on eventually after some tinkering. It was a snug fit. After several uses of it sounding like it was grinding, it did loosen up and now it works perfectly fine.

The 12 yr old vitamix wasn’t blending and made horrible sounds, and this new set fixed that problem. It was a bit to get all the bits lined up when installing, but smoothies and salad dressings are a thing once more. It saved me a trip to repair shop 40 miles away 100.00 or a new machine 450.00.

I am not sure if I bought the wrong product or not but this did not fit in my blender. Seemed like a fine part but not what I needed.

Purchased this gear for my Vitamix model VM0102. It fits perfectly. One I previously purchased was too tall, so I highly recommend this one for model VM0102

The only thing I disliked was, I was unable to put the screw in. I tried and tried, but it works fine without it.

Definitely watch the video on how to properly install this. Once you do, you won't regret it. Trick is not to install it too tightly. I cant believe I spent all of lockdown without my vitamix. I called "customer care" (not!) and they wanted to charge me about £150 plus expected me to take the vitamix to them. "Excuse me, but we are in lockdown but you are a company who should be concerned about your customers" I said. (I have owned two - one of which I gave to my partner for his home). The told me that the warrantee had expired only ONE MONTH before I phoned. So .... um....? During lockdown .... one small discretionary bit of help? Anyhow my point is that I wish they had said "What is the problem? Perhaps we can help you over the phone." A year later...and I finally worked it out! Within two days - fixed. So happy. Thank you Amazon. Thank you youtube. No thank you so-called Vitamix "Customer Care" 🙄 :)

Absolutely the worst product. Ordered 3 of these. All 3 were different. The screws were different lengths and widths.
