Unique and fun snack/lunch bag
My son chose this bag when we were browsing for his snack/lunch bag and he chose this one. We watched the video together and he loved that I could wash it. He couldn't wait for it to arrive. When it finally arrived, I was disappointed b/c the thread was coming off already and it was coming off. I told my son that we had to return it but he was so upset and did not want to use my pink lunch bag until a new one arrived. So I let him use it and used it twice when I received an email asking for a review. I wrote them about the problem and BOY! They were FAST! at responding and went above and beyond to sort out the problem. They refunded me right away and I was able to order a new one without having my son take my pink lunch bag. What a customer service! I wish all customer services were like them. Son loves his bag and I like the fact that I am stress free about where he is gonna put his bag and bring what kind of germs.... I can just let him toss it anywhere and I can wash it.Another good feature is that he can open his bag anywhere and it is an instant table mat where he can put his food and eat them. He loves that idea too. My son is 8 year old. The only down side is that the regular one is a bit tight if you're like me who likes to pack variety of things. I packed an ice pack (the kind that you put on you to ice your bruise), yogurt, fruit, PBJs and water bottle. It fit. But was tight.A feature I would recommend is a place to put his name tag on it. Otherwise, a great product.

Yes - you need to buy this lunch box.
These lunch boxes are AWESOME!! My son has used one for the last few years. Before he used the smaller one - but it was almost too small for a growing teen so he has passed it down to his little brother and we purchased this large one for him. It is the perfect size for me to send plenty of food for his lunches. AND the fact that the smaller one has survived to be passed down is AMAZING!! They really are fantastic!One of the reasons my older boy loves this lunch box is he can leave his food in it, unzip one flap, and his food is "protected". We were having issues with other boys in his class "sneezing" or "spitting" in his food. They really weren't, they were faking, but my son is a germaphobe and once they did that, he couldn't even force himself to finish eating (honestly, I probably wouldn't be able to either). but with this lunch box, his food is protected and he loves that - no more issues with him going hungry or food going to waste! :)

Best. Lunch. Bag. EVER!
I purchased these for my 2nd grade boy (who is very tough on everything) and my 4th grade girl at the beginning of the school year, because these looked so much easier to clean and more durable than the standard insulated bags we've always bought before. They did not disappoint!!! I love these! We are now at the end of the school year, and they are still in perfect working order. They are super easy to wash - just unzip and throw in the washing machine, or even the dishwasher! The neoprene material is extremely durable and does not have any tears, stains, or nasty odors in it after a year of it being stepped on, squished under seats, thrown around, and yes, having food left in it over many a weekend. It is the perfect size and shape to carry bento boxes or just regular food storage containers. Standard lunch bags make your food tip sideways when you carry it, due to the handle placement. This one allows you to carry your food upright, meaning fewer spills and lunch that still looks nice when you open it! And they really do lay flat when you unzip them, so they work great as a placemat and don't have awkward corners to catch crumbs and germs. These bags are genius, and I will never buy one of those terrible cartoon character lunch bags again!

Best lunch box/bag I have found!
I spent a long time looking for a lunchbox for my first grader. We have transitioned to bento and stainless steel type lunch containers, which tend to be a little bulky. I wanted something that would hold different shaped containers, plus his water bottle. This has been a perfect solution. He can manage the zippers on his own, it holds everything he needs, keeps food well insulated (with an ice pack), and most importantly - it is washable! My son told me it is too big to use as a placemat at school, but instead of completely unzipping it he unzips two sides and uses that flap as a place to set things. Works great for him. I will be buying a second one for my lunches, just have to choose a color....Update: Sept. 30, 2019. The lunch bag is still going strong, and can hold enough food to keep a growing boy going through the day. I do struggle keeping it smelling fresh, and on one side the fabric is starting to separate from the body. But this is still the best lunch bag ever!

Zippers not as they used to be.
I love these washable lunchboxes, I have them in all sizes for the whole family, they lasted for years. However, the original colorful zippers from the 1st LB we bought were better quality, they were easier to zip and unzip, and rarely got damaged. The newest and latest ones I bought are stiff, and the hook gets jammed an uneasy for a child to use. I am sorry to see this brand deteriorating as it was my favorite.

The Flatbox Lunchbox is easy to use, wash and store
This lunch bag has been used for one week so far. So glad that I went with the large size for my elementary school son. I love that it can be tossed in the washer. In needs to drip dry, but that in fine by me. Depending on what is packed, I cannot always fit their water containers. I have used it for both keep food cold as well as keeping a small Thermos warm. It works better at keeping things cold. My son can easily zip it back together. Because of the dark color, you can't write their name anywhere. But using my Embroidery machine I was able to create a tag that is looped around the handle. This should help reduce the chances of it getting lost.
