One does not expect such passionate attraction outside of a Jane Austen novel, yet here we are—1,500 grams of MagSafe force strong enough to survive even a clumsy spill across the floor after three sherries and a minor disagreement with the dog.Now, the stand. Oh, the stand! Subtly nestled around the camera like a shy but charming butler, it flips out to display one’s screen at precisely the right angle for YouTube, Netflix, or judging others on Zoom. Fully adjustable, elegantly unobtrusive, and clearly designed by someone who understands the art of lounging in bed like royalty.Its build? Solid enough to withstand a fencing match with a rogue toddler, while maintaining its clear-as-crystal façade so your phone may remain as visible as your superiority. The zinc alloy hinge? Tested 3,000 times, apparently. I’ve not tested it personally that many times, but I did give it a firm wiggle and felt like the Queen of Engineering.And let us not forget the corner protection, which makes it look as though my device is wearing invisible elbow pads. A beautiful, sleek, protective case for a reasonable price! I love the rubber feel to the case, it gives a very strong grip and can even have difficulty getting into my pockets at time due to the grip of the case. It was extremely easy to put on, and remove, I have had zero issues with dropping my phone since, even when the eventual fall happens, there's been no worry about the screen shattering or anything of the sort. The case is a nice weight, and perfectly designed with nice, solid cutouts for the silence button and speakers, while the power button feels firm and responsive, with just enough give to not make it difficult; Overall Ive been extremely happy with my purchase, extremely sturdy feeling! The phone holder also works fantastic, iI've had other cases with similar features and have had the rings bend or collapse on themselves, there have been no issues of the sort with this brand!

Edited to correct a link below.I have no connection to ESR and paid for these items.This review covers two important things about this ESR case: The HaloLock magnet for MagSafe phones and the "CAMERA CONTROL" option you have to have for newer phones with that button. NOTE: Earlier versions of the case are unfortunately thrown together on this same Amazon page and may not have the Camera Control improvement. So be on guard for the right one.Right after this week's purchase of an iPhone 16, MacWorld recommended this case highly in a review a for the iPhone 16 Pro case, but as they said, it also covers the same qualities on this iPhone 16 (not Pro) version that I needed. The reason: THE CAMERA CONTROL BUTTON.My purchased ESR iPhone 16 case has the magnetic HaloLock system on the back so that it won't fall off of MagSafe charging stands and mounts with the case on the phone. That's a problem with phone cases that block the magnet strength because they don't have the additional MagSafe features.If your phone has the new camera control button, then the "CAMERA CONTROL," option is a MUST among all of these cases thrown together on this Amazon page. The Camera Control option in some of the cases is NEWER to accommodate that new button on the iPhone 16. If you have a phone with that, it's IMPORTANT for that button to work well through the case. Be careful when you're clicking all the options on this page. Carefully look for that Camera Control in the bold pop up description as you hover over it in the small images of choices of colors, etc. I almost messed up.I'm duplicating parts of this review with tweaks on two other ESR product pages all for their MagSafe items I bought at about the same time.
