Awesome hiking backpack
This is a great day pack for hiking. Pockets are very roomy, lots of places to hook on gear/attachments. The water reservoir is great! Good quality, easy to clean, and doesn't give the water any plastic taste. Make sure you screw the lid on well, I wasn't paying attention to this and it did leak in my bag. Zippers easy to use. Easy to slip on/off when needed, no wrestling with your straps and arms. The back has a slight frame which is nice, I think it adds to comfort. Very, very comfortable, wore for 4 hrs straight, and no discomfort. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great hiking backpack
I purchased this backpack to take on my first 14er. It was really great and I'm glad I had it. It is a well designed bag and I really appreciated the multiple storage areas, pockets, and straps. My hiking poles did not fit on the designated spot, but I was able to strap them in tightly on the side without issue. I purchased this bag over the 20L due to the hip strap and support. I find it makes hiking much less tedious on the shoulders. I do wish this bag had a pocket on the hip support for easier access to my phone for taking pictures. The chest strap is magnetic and I fumbled with that some. I do prefer a clip for chest strap. I would definitely recommend this bag.

Great first outdoor daypack
I bought this pack to use it for many things not just going on hikes and it has served me well. The three pladder pack comes in handy and is easy to fill and use. I do wish there were mini pockets on the waist clip by the side padding to slide my phone into instead of having to take the pack completely off to put my phone away. That my only criticism for this pack.

I adore this backpack
I adore this backpack! I bought it for my trip to Glacier National Park, and it was fantastic. The bag has tons of storage room and pockets, and the hydration bladder was perfect for long day hikes. The bag is lightweight, and a beautiful color. I will definitely be using this backpack on all of my future hiking trips.

Good features but hurts my back
Nice backpack, kills my back though. Brought it to REI and got it fitted thinking maybe I was wearing it wrong. But still starts killing my back after just 20minutes of walking around the house with just clothes packed in it.

Everything fits!
I love this backpack so much, I bought two more for family! Gregory takes utilitarian and comfort to the next level!! I've used it in the winter to hike in the Adirondacks as well as on sections of the AT.

will go under airline seat, good for 15.6 laptop
I got this direct from gregory on sale. I removed the bladder, not really looking for that use, and lo, there it is the perfect sized personal bag for under the airline seat. The 18 inches is real and can easily be squished down an inch or so if your airline is really picky. My 15.6 laptop in its case fits easily. And as a bonus, it is a really good about town bag with a decent harness design, nice top packet, compression straps.
