I had a family staying at my house for the week, and needed something portable for their 5 years old to sleep on. I did read many reviews prior to purchasing and was apprehensive of the "smell" factor. When the bed arrived, I blew it up and it did give off a strong smell of PVC. I did a little research online regarding this, and found that a way to speed up getting rid of the smell is to put it out in the sun for several days for it to "gas out". I blew it up, kept the bed outside and during the days I would put it in the sunlight and flip it several times. By the time my guests arrived the smell was greatly reduced and it almost undetectable; I will likely continue to put it outside for a few more days in the sun until I am ready to stare it for my next tiny guest. The only negative thing I can say at this point is that the blow up motor was great, however the attachments to fit on it do not fit securely and are very difficult to attach to the motor. I would not recommend this or any air mattress to be used for long-term use as that's not really what they are designed for.

We have had this bed for over 6 months now. We have used it on several vacations, and at home for sleep overs. The bed has a strong plastic smell when first using. We just aired it out and now the smell is not noticeable. We have had children ranging from 3-7 years old use this bed with plenty of room. That being said, the bed is not overly big. We were easily able to use it in hotel rooms without it taking up too much space. The bed holds the air well. We stayed for 5 days in Disney and did not have to put my air into the mattress while we were there. Although I discourage my kids from walking or jumping on the bed.. they are kids and it has been done ;) Would highly recommend this bed, was a great purchase for the price!

Great bed. Perfect for my 4 1/2 year old. Purchased for vacation and have not used it yet, but blew it up and it stayed filled for a week. Blows up quickly and there is a way to open the valve, inactivating the one way valve, so you can deflate it easy. Easy to get back into the bag with the pump. Really like the soft top to reduce the squeaky noises that these beds can make when being slept on. Ours did not have any type of terrible smell, just the normal smell an inflatable raft would have and it dissipated after a day of being blow up and left out. Yes, the pump is noisy, but at least it comes with an electric pump and it's quick to inflate. Overall, great value for the money.

This is a great mattress for the price. The pump is wonderful! Because the mattress has a cloth covering it did stain and I eventually couldn't get the smell out (from accidents my son had as a toddler). I bought my second one and make sure to put a waterproof pad down. I even had to patch my first one (due to a puppy accident) and that lasted for a year! I just used the patch kit that came with the mattress. This mattress is heavy duty and has been through kids jumping on it without issues. The "sides" are not as high as some toddler mattresses so if you have a roller they might not be on it in the morning. I highly recommend it!

This is the perfect travel bed for our now 5 year old. We have had it for over a year and have used it a ton as we travel often. It’s super convenient and comes with a power inflator/deflator. Our kid likes to jump, so we did get a split in the seam but repaired it with the included patch kit, and have used it on 2 trips since with no air leakage. I use a twin size fitted sheet tucked under one end, with a piddle pad under it just in case of a “liquid” accident. A really great buy, highly recommend.

I had this delivered to Hawaii where we were going to be staying for a 2 week vacation.This was a great solution for our 2.5yr old. It blew up fast, and pretty much held it's air. We did have to add some air every few nights, but that was expected.It was small enough to bring home in a suitcase, but we did think about leaving it. But we have a few more trips planned that the bed will come in very handy. Our toddler will not go to sleep unless she has a defined bed (no sleeping on the floor) she roams around and plays.

We got this air mattress for our 2 year old to use as a bed while visiting his grandparents. I thought getting a childs' inflatable air mattress for less than $50 meant it would include the bare-minimum (I honestly didn't read the description very thoroughly). However, when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it came with a plug-in air pump (with extra adapters to use with other things too!), a tote bag, and even a patch-kit in case it gets a hole!

Great packaging. Not just shipping packaging either (though we liked it as well). The "stuff sack" bag it comes with is actually big enough to put both the mattress AND pump in, even after the mattress has been used and not folded perfectly or the way it came from the factory! Good size for our 3 year old. The only problem is that is a bit big for crib sheets and small for twin sheets, but easy enough to make do!
