Great replacement keys - Cut and programmed perfectly
I bought these keys as a replacement set for a 2005 Honda Accord - These keys can be programmed out of the box to Unlock/Lock the doors and trunk. However, you have to get them cut and programmed at a locksmith or Honda dealer to enable them to start the car. I checked a local locksmith and they wanted $100 each to cut and program! I checked with the nearest Honda dealer and they quoted me $95 for one or more keys (up to 3) as long as all keys were present at the time of cutting and programming. These keys were cut and able to be programmed (some keys on Amazon/e-Bay are not able to be programmed). These worked out great! Thanks for selling a quality product.

Excellent and economical choice for new key fobs
This is a great choice! I have a key fob for another car from this company that has worked great for the past four years. This one is for my 2004 Honda LX Accord. I went to the Batteries Plus Bulbs store in the next town over. It only cost $10 per key to have them cut. So I made sure both keys worked in my door lock before heading home. At home I took apart one of my old key fobs and took out the "chip". I had to use a blade and pry it out of the plastic housing. This damages that old key fob, it does not matter because it didn't work anyways. Now take apart the new key fob. The blank chip will come out easily (there is no housing for the chip in the new key fob). Put the old chip in the new key fob. Now you can enter with the key and start your car engine at this point . To get the key fob to open/lock the doors you need to do a few simple steps to program it: You have 5 seconds to complete each step. If you take longer than 5 seconds you will need to restart the entire process. You can attempt this process as many times as necessary to complete the entire process. So, enter the car and close all the doors.1) Turn the ignition to the ON position (II) (If you look closely at your ignition, you will see the II symbol)2) Press the lock button on the remote you are programming3) Turn the ignition to the OFF position (I)REPEAT THE ABOVE STEPS THREE TIMES5) Turn the ignition to the ON position (II)6) Press the lock button. At this time you will hear the door locks cycle (faint clicking sound) confirming that the car has entered the programming mode.7) Press the lock button again. The door locks will cycle again confirming that the vehicle has programmed the remote.8) Turn the ignition to the OFF position (I).The directions I followed said that if you have more remotes to program, just follow step 7 within 10 seconds. This did not work for me, so I just started from the beginning with my second remote. If you have additional remotes, you will need to follow these steps for ALL of them.

Key fob won’t program to 2007 Honda accord ex
Key was cut and transponder was programmed and worked flawlessly. However, the remote itself won’t program to my 2007 Honda accord . So, I can’t deactivate the alarm or unlock or lock the doors via the remote fob.

Works well with 2006 Accord EX
I needed a backup key in case I lose my only one for my 2006 Honda Accord EX. I took this to Batteries Plus and they were able to cut and program this new key without any hitches. I was a little worried that they won't be able to program this key but turned out no need! Also saved me a ton from going to the dealer to this done. Just as an fyi, the programming service was $100 plus the $10 cost for a single key. Very happy today knowing I have a working backup key.

Honda Key Fobs
Look exactly like OEM keys. come with batteries, warranty, Have not had them cut or programmed as yet but expect they will work fine! If not, will write a correction. Arrived within 24 hours. As earlier said, these keys work fine. The fobs were programmed and do open rear doors if drivers door unlocked. I assume they would work for the front doors as well but do to an accident the actuators in the front are not working. When i get them replaced i am sure the keys will work as suppose to.

Updated Review-Works just like OEM
Review Updated:I originally wrote a review that these do not have the transponder and I was wrong. I originally took these to get a locksmith to cut the key. I asked him to cut the key and I would program it with my xTool. He checked the key and told me there was no transponder and he could only program the key fob, He showed me the original Honda key fob that had a small box holding the transponder and opening this one he did not see one and his machine did not detect a transponder. He then offered to sell me one of his Honda keys with key fob for $200. Something smelled fishy,Well fast forward 6 months and my original keyfob breaks, So I decided to use my xTool to see if what the locksmith told me was true, Well the xTool was able to program the key fob and also the transponder, The transponder is not in a box like the original key but there is a transponder in the inner key fob case, The security key light showed red before i programmed the key and would not start the car, It took about 5 minutes with the xTool and both the key fob buttons work and the key starts the car. The only problem I am having is getting the key cut on the second key fob, The dealer, Ace, and locksmith do not want to cut the key unless I buy it from them. The dealer wants $400, Ace Hardware was over $200 for key fob and programming and locksmith was $95 to cut key and $200 for key fob with programming,
