This actually fit perfectly and was just as solid as my original cup top. I love that now I have options for lids depending on my mood! It is wasy to clean and can be thrown in the dishwasher, and is a decent price for an extra part. The design of these cups is so fun I would rather just get different colors of lids than buy new ones when I always have this one with me as ol reliable.

Good option to replace Owala brand. Doesn’t “lock” as well as Owala brand, so may not be great for backpack or bag where it’s getting tossed around

I broke the handle on my original Owala bottle top and needed a replacement. I chose the pink/purple which fit my 40 oz just fine; the colors also complemented the dreamy field bottle well.Other things to know:This product comes with the top only, no straw (my original straw fit fine)Mine came with the seal, though I held onto my old cap in case I needed to pop the seal offSeems leakproofNo chemical smell observedThe spring (used to pop the top when you push the button) does seem a little flimsy compared to the original lids - mine has been working fine but I’ll probably use it a bit more gingerly than the one I had before

I snapped my original Owalla lid where the straw attaches to the lid, so I decided to buy two replacement lids in order to have a spare in the future. These lids do fit both my 24oz and 32oz FreeSip Owalla bottles, so at first I was happy.However, both lids had a VERY strong chemical smell exuding from the plastic sip/pour spout. Whenever I tried drinking water through either the straw or the spout, there was a faint chemical aftertaste. I removed the lids and have been letting them air out for several days, and the smell has faded, but it’s still there to a faint degree.Maybe they are fine and pose no health risk now that they have outgassed most of whatever was causing the odor, but it’s not a risk I’m willing to take. Of course, I already threw away the packaging so I can’t return them, but hopefully others will learn from my mistake and look for a different replacement!I ended up buying replacement lids directly from the Owalla site, which frankly I should have done from the start!

We have a bunch of water bottles but my kids refuse to use because the lids are not "cool". My son doesn't drink water quite often at school. Even since we change to this lid, he drinks a lot! He finished all the water everyday now. Love this lid! So many cool colors! Recommended!

My wife dropped her Owala the other day and broke the lid. Rather than buy a new bottle I found this replacement lid and decided we should give it a try. She loves the color - more than her original, and functionally it's the same. It fits well, seems sturdy, and opens and closes easily. Her existing straw fit in fine. What more could we ask for?
