It is actual plant pieces, not the flat pre-cut shapes. My fox face pigs it down.

Looks like chewing tobacco
As I said it looks and smells like chewing tobacco, not a sheet like the others. My fish don't like this as much as the green or purple but bagger fish can't be choosers!!

Strange smell. none of my fish eat it. and seller doesn't offer return for this item! beware!!!

Good stuff!
The red is real dried seaweed. My double-barred rabbitfish and coral beauty really love it. When you hang it on a clip it absorbs water quickly and sways in the flow. I like the green and purple stuff too, but they look like they were shredded and dried into sheets. The fish like it, but it doesn’t sway in the current like the red does.

Not Constant
My other two packages were good but this last package was super dry and everything just crumbled. What I could get to clip in the feeder went untouched. The fish wouldn't eat it so it just made a mess in my tank. Very disappointed this time around.

Do not order. Product unusable
I’ve used numerous algae before, this one comes loose and ruffled, and smells like tobacco. Most sheets last less then five minutes in my tank, fish wouldn’t eat this at all. It won’t allow return, do not order
