Stephen King Dark Tower Collection 7 Books Set Pack (1 To 7 Books Set)

One of the best book series ever, you really bond with the characters. Is one of those kind of stories that you will always remember and keep recommending to friends and family. Riveting story line.

As a long time fan of Stephen King I found myself very curious about the Dark Tower series - a set of seven books known by both the author and his fans as his magnus opus - his greatest work - I was initially put off by the amount of money I would have to invest to get them (around 65 to 75 pounds, depending on which shop I went to). To my great surprise I found the whole collection here on Amazon, in one boxed set, retailing for around 24 pounds. I immediately purchased the set and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the books (for 25 pounds I was expecting very poor print quality, or poor page quality, but these books are just the same quality as if you bought them all individually). The only problem I found was a slightly water-warped/water damaged fifth book - Wolves of the Calla - but the incredible price for these books more than made up for it. If I was picky I would simply buy a new copy of Wolves of the Calla - even if it cost 20 pounds I would still be getting the series for over 30 pounds less! You won't find a better price anywhere in the UK, including off Ebay (trust me, I checked!)

This was a gift for my grandson. He is delighted that he has the set. My only very small gripe would be that they are a mix of hardback and paperback but apart from that we are pleased.

The Box was a bit cut. With the book‘s all right.

I wanted to write a more professional review, like the one I read and envy in here, but I can't. This is a perfect saga. It touches every genre, every character and every style possible. Stephen King spent half his life to write the story, and it shows. There is no detail that could be spared, no character overreacts. For my personal taste *spoiler* I choose to think the book finishes were Roland enters the Tower; I read it all, but Suzanna's last part didn't interest me. Still, it is a story that stays with you. Love, war, deceit, action, wit and many other words I couldn't think of (but the author did, and placed them exactly where they should be) are there. I loved it and I will read it again when I get old and revisit my favorite heroes. I have never read a more complete story.

I bought these books as a present for my brother, having read them myself I knew he would love them. This is one of the best book series I have ever read however I would not recommend buying from this seller. Two of the books arrived today (books 2 and 4) with an invoice from the Ebay marketplace and the quality of "Wizard and glass" is very poor although they were advertised as good. Even if the rest of the books arrive soon, and in the same condition as the better of the two, it would still be very disappointing and not worth the price. Update: The rest of the books have arrived and most are also not in good condition. The spine and cover of most of them is very badly damaged and it looks like every other page has been folded in some.

I like Stephen King books, I think he is a good author, so when I saw all books of the Dark Tower I couldn't resist on buying it. The delivery was quick I was estimated a day at the end of Feb, Instead it is here now. In the picture it shows all 7 4 inside the box all match and the 3 outside don't. Im not really fussed about the covers but it would have been nice to have it all matching. But all in all good delivery service and they are brand new books. Cant Wait to read them now. Thanks

Extrem interessantes Setting - eine Mischung aus Fantasy, Western und Coming of Age, welche vor allem am Anfang wirklich fesselnd ist. Achtung Spoiler! Vor allem die Rückblicke auf die Jugend des Gunslingers fand ich sehr gut gemacht, aber am Schluss verstrickt sich Stepen King immer mehr in wirre Zeitreisen-dilemma und seinen Auftritt im Buch fand ich auch nicht wirklich gelungen.

I tried I really did.. read book one and half of book two. I found it really really weird and sometimes a bit difficult to read. The books also had marks and some of the pages were a bit torn...

Good quality and very speedy delivery considering how far it had to travel. One of the best book series ever written.
