An Excellent Action Game
Bayonetta is one of the best action games around and when Bayonetta 3 was announced years ago I was excited for its release. I did play and finish game sometime last year and I'm just now getting around to sharing my thoughts on it. While its an excellent game, there are things about it that I didn't quite enjoy.I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way now, the story in Bayonetta 3 is kind of a disappointment. Its not completely bad but its not great either. I have a feeling that long time players of this series will not be satisfied with how this games story ends. Without spoiling anything, there are a lot of questionable things done to certain characters that left me scratching my head. Now that I got that out of the way, lets focus on what truly matters for action games. Lets focus on the gameplay. The gameplay in Bayonetta 3 is among the best in the series and a lot was done to make this one stand out from the previous entries. The new gameplay mechanics during combat are a sight to behold and are delivered in a way that you would expect in a Bayonetta game. In addition to playing as Bayonetta, a new playable character makes their debut, and she has her own unique move set. Can't say to much about this character without spoilers but I will say that she is fun to play as. So to sum it up, Bayonetta 3 has excellent combat and is among the best in the series. However, while the combat very engaging, the overall visual aesthetics of the game leave a lot to be desired. The graphics of Bayonetta 3 are kind of disappointing especially when compared to the previous games in the series (that are also both available on Switch). Personally, I think a lot of that has to do with the Nintendo Switch hardware. What they were making was to much to handle for the switch and it kind of shows when walking around in the game's world. While graphics are not the most important thing, it does kind of ruin the experience a bit (at least it did for me).Overall, Bayonetta 3 is a great action game that is worth adding to your Switch collection. Don't come to this one for its story or graphics, come for the gameplay. That is the most important thing when it comes to video games like Bayonetta.

Beautiful combat
I've played the whole trilogy and bayonetta 3 has definitely refined and improved an already awesome combat system. You can summon infernal demons and fight with them mid battle now and it's a game changer. For example, there's this frog microphone weapon and it has a combo that ends with an AOE. I mixed that with summoning Madam butterfly and her downward kick which ended with me decimating every enemy on screen. It was badass. Anyway there's so many demons to choose from and each comes with a respective weapon. Each demon/weapon has it's own upgrade tree. I could go on and on there's just so much content in this game, way more than the previous 2 games. This is definitely one of the best hack and slash games I've ever played. I'm really satisfied with this game, there's a lot of replayablity in it too. Do yourself a solid and buy it.

Best Bayonetta Game In The Series!
This game is over the top and insane. It's the best character action game out there. The gameplay is pure perfection. Platinum Games really delivered on making this game truly ambitious. Definitely the best action game released this year. The combat is extremely deep, with tons of combos and weapons, not to mention some of the new mechanics, like Demon Slave. The soundtrack is also superb. On another note, the Switch hardware is starting to show its age. While Bayonetta 3 is one of the best looking games on Switch. It still looks outdated by today's standards. As the developers can only work with, what they're able to. If you love games like Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, or action games in general. Then this is a must buy to add to your collection!Posted a few comparisons shots of Bayonetta 2 and 3. Bayonetta 3 is visually superior!

New style of Bayonetta
The case arrived nicely! This game feels thematically different from one and two but if you like action games and are up for something new - then I recommend it. It feels like the best of both Astral Chain and Bayonetta, and all the environments are all much bigger. There are many welcome surprises at every turn which break up the action. And as a plus, it felt very smooth to play and looked quite pretty. Very fun! 😊
