TreesAgain Citrus Starter Pack - Lot of 5 Citrus Tree Starter Plugs (See State Restrictions)

I wanted to provide a review since I bought these starter plugs 5 years ago in 2015. I thought their packaging was great, the plugs were carefully wrapped and labelled and all 5 have survived. They had a rough couple of years in the beginning. I planted them in small pots and left them on my balcony in Texas for the first couple of years, changed them to larger ones in 2017. However, I did not really fertilize them until the beginning of 2019. They were pretty sickly and sad looking up until then, I think they were maybe 2-3 feet tall, quite a few yellow/curly leaves, skinny branches, not much growth during the growing season.However! Beginning of 2019 I put them in much larger pots, full sunshine most of the day/year, and started using Miracle-Gro Shake 'N Feed Continuous Release Citrus, Avocado & Mango Plant Food every 3 months or so and holymoly they shot up and out! I'm crediting that citrus fertilizer with bringing them a new life. While they didn't fruit or flower last year or this year (2020) their growth has been incredible (especially those 1-3 inch long thorns, ouch!) and they are over 5 feet tall each. I will be planting them in the ground next year, in full sunlight, and I'm feeling pretty optimistic that they might flower, even fruit if I'm lucky! I hope I can provide an update picture at that time.

Ok, I ordered these in early June, they arrived the first week of July, the shipping isn't the fastest but they are pkged very well, trust me when u see the box you will be trying to remember what you ordered that comes in a single cigar box, the box is 8" long and 2"x2" it's super small.Ok, I laughed when I saw these, I thought ok I wasted $30 and actually set them aside and wasn't even going to try. I mean these are smaller than a twig. Well I forgot about them, they stayed in their original wrappings and in the box (they are taped to the box).Well they are still very much alive, so today August 17th yes 6 weeks since they came in, I decided to plant them.Now I'm not saying this is right, or wrong but evidently leaving them alone that long did some good. When I unwrapped them the roots are so long and full. The wrappings are so tight I assume it held the moisture and never dried out. So, I planted them today with full 1 to 3" long roots on them. I'm pretty sure had I just unwrapped them roots wouldn't even be present.So, not saying this will work for anyone else, and it was completely by accident. But heres hoping the trees flourish here in the Florida sun and high humidity lol.

Came in and were not damaged. All small trees but that was the description so I knew what to expect. The look very healthy. Sitting happily by my areogarden.Edited: Lime died. It just shriveled up. No reason. All others are healthy. It was the smallest of them all. Maybe 2 inches with tiny leaves. No replacement. Love good customer care but sadly they would not replace.

I've had these trees for 7 months now and they have tripled in size. They came ready to go and have taken off here in Florida. The only issue I've had is trying to keep the squirrels out of the pots I'm growing them in (I'm renting the house right now and will plant them as soon as I buy a house) as they have killed the Tangerine tree. Otherwise my experience with these starter plugs has been excellent!

All five of my starter plugs are doing great. No noticeable growth for the first 2-3 weeks but we are now starting to see new leaves sprouting. The plugs came in a netted fabric that we gently tore off for two of the seedlings but left it intact on the other three (doesn't seem to make a difference in case anyone is wondering). No yellowing of the leaves or other defects. I'm very happy with my purchase :)

Would not recommend I’ve had these trees for a couple days now I planted them how I was supposed to and they are already starting to not look healthy and like they are going to die first off the way the come is ridiculous they come with a little bitty root bulb my suggestion they need to let them grow a few more roots before they ship them

Trees arrived promptly. We planted them in some pots with miracle grow soil. 6 months later we only have lost one. I am sure it was due to our lack of green thumbs. I would definitely buy from this vendor again. I am a tough cookie to please, not one of those everything is great people. Oh, I have one tree six months later over a foot high, when it warms up I will transplant into dirt and I feel sure they will really take off growing.

I have ordered from this vendor before and was so happy with my purchase, I decided to try the citrus pack. I was not disappointed! Healthy and green little trees, and one of the lemons even had two little trees growing in the same plug! I transplanted all of them about three weeks ago, and they are all growing well.
