MNBS Silicone Cover Stretch Lid, Glass, YELLOW, MULTI-SIZE

I bought these as we are trying to cut down on our single use plastic. They are much easier to use than the reusable covers that look like shower caps and they are far easier to clean.You get two sets of six of various sizes in two colours which covers you from cups and beakers to large pans and bowls.They are super stretchy so each diameter cover, within reason, will fit a range of similar sizes and although they are round, they will also fit square, oblong or irregular shaped containers.You can use them in the microwave or the oven according to the manufacturer, although I can’t see why you would want to. As food grade silicon they will be safe in oven or microwave but I suspect the pressure from steam realeased from cooking will quickly blow them off the container – which is why you pierce the covering plastic film, on say, a ready meal.As a replacement for cling film, though, they are ideal, are easy to wash either by hand or in the dishwasher and can be used over and over again. They are more expensive than cling film, initially, but with reuse will eventually work out much cheaper. Price, though, is hardy the point. We need to eliminating single use plastic and covers, like these, are helping us to do it bit by bit.

Quite often i find myself finding storage tub without the lid and it drives me mad, sometimes i want to cover a drink when i'm in the garden in the summer.Well these handy and versatile lids are perfect for those occasions and more, i saw in the pic that they could be used to cover watermelon and thought i would try it and you know what it works a treat, no more wrapping the hell out of the watermelon with cling film.They are so handy to have in the cupboard

I try to replace one way plastic and I thought that would help avoiding cling film but it doesn’t do anything described or shown in the ad. It is awkward to clean and pulls back to the wabbly shape, it won’t stay stretched over any kind of surface. Total waste of money AND ends up in the bin/landfill which completely defeats my original hoped purpose, couldn’t be more disappointed!

Actually that is not much space that can stretch. The stuff have to be almost the right size to the lid, not really like adv showing can air tight to whatever stuffs, even can't cover properly most of the thing! And we actually almost use only one or two of the size of lids cover! The other just taking place. As it cannot air tight, maybe cover with another plate is sensible.

These are fab, no more cling film! They come in various sizes & stretch over all shapes & sizes of bowls to form an airtight seal! You can even cover half a melon or onion to keep it fresh! I've bought more & given them as gifts to friends ☺

Not nearly as good as advertised. Lids do stretch but tend to slide off some containers. Plastic wrap is easier to use and doesn't need washing. Now I've used them I'm in a wiser position knowing not to recommend them. Service was good.

Had such high hopes as I feel like I use too much cling wrap. I think the product would work really well if you had the crockery dimensions of the products. My bowls and plates were either too big or too small which meant the covers did really seal.

These covers have proven to be excellent. I'm writing this review having had them for over three years and they re still excellent.
