You should have seen the look in my son's eyes when I showed him the pickaxe and transformed it into a sword. I was a little worried he'd pass out from excitement.It's so fun to play with to be mining and ah-ha I got you with my sword. It's built a little more robustly than I would expect for a toy, especially one with moving parts. Now I'm sure my child will still break it but maybe it'll take a few times.I'm not an adult who plays with his kids toys when they're not around. No sir/maam

My grandson loved this, but I do not have anything else to say about it cause he hasn’t gotten to use it. His birthday was just yesterday. I will update review review later.

Got this for my little guy who is almost 4. He absolutely loves watching MineCraft videos and running around breaking blocks. When he saw this he absolutely flipped!! The sword to pickaxe function works ok, sometimes it takes a little shake up and down to get it to lock into the pickaxe mode though. The design is really cool and he loves the way it looks. He likes how the edges of the sword disappear when it goes into pickaxe mode. The edges of the pickaxe (the "pointed tip" also flip upside down when going into sword mode so they aren't pointed down anymore like they are in pickaxe mode. It is all plastic but it's really durable and thick plastic!

Pros:-It's awesome!-Big!-Function actually works.-Price is reasonable.-Build quality is excellent.Cons:-Because it's hard plastic and not foam, this could hurt if you got bonked with it. (So don't do that.)-Conversion doesn't always work as intended and requires your assistance.Final thoughts:This is fun. Silly as can be, but a lot of fun. One button press and a swing, and you go from sword to axe or vice versa. The button needs to be pressed down the entire time so the sliding mechanism can land in place and latch. (Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't, and you need to push it all the way. Don't force it, you'll break it.)It's vibrant and colorful, and the blues really pop. (Especially the translucent blue pieces of the blade.)It's surprisingly heavy for a plastic toy of this type. Not so heavy that the kid can't carry it, but heavy enough to catch you off guard. (Because of this, you can't swing it around and hit things, you'll break them and the axe/sword. You could hurt someone.)Overall, I think this is surprisingly good. My son absolutely adores this. Loved the movie, loves the toy. Highly recommended.
