Just like with an AirTag, I put the FineTracker close to my phone and was immediately prompted to add it to the Find My app. It paired within seconds, no third-party apps required. This is a huge plus—full native integration with Apple Find My means I don’t need to worry about extra bloatware or sign-ups. It just works.The build quality is another high point. The tracker is lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap. It has a matte plastic exterior with a subtle design that blends well on a keyring, in a bag, or attached to a pet collar.Unlike the AirTag, the UGREEN FineTracker has a built-in keyring hole, which seems minor but is a huge improvement. No need to buy an extra case just to attach it to something!Now let’s talk battery: this is where UGREEN takes a bold step. While the AirTag also features a replaceable battery, UGREEN promises a 2-year battery life on a single CR2032 cell. While I obviously haven’t had it for two years yet, the battery indicator is still full, and the energy-efficient design gives me confidence it’ll live up to expectations. When the time comes, replacing the battery is easy with a simple twist-open mechanism—no tools needed.Functionally, it’s been a lifesaver. I tested the tracker in multiple scenarios: tucked into a backpack, attached to my keys, even in my car glovebox. In all cases, tracking was accurate and responsive. Additionally, the alarm is noticeably louder compared to the AirTags I own, which is a fantastic feature.I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these to place in rucksacks, laptop bags, and other items I want to keep track of. Always like Ugreen products . Easy setup , nice and loud . The Find my works but as with all things Apple there’s always one bit that doesn’t quite work. You don’t get the “find” option like you do with Apple AirTag . You get “Directions” its not the really useful arrow directions with Find. Hence only 4 stars.

Bought this product since I wanted to get a few extra trackers compatible with Apple Find My to track some more things.I thought that I should give a try to UGREEN and see if it fits my needs.I have to admit, really impressed with the quality when it comes to the price (got 2 trackers for less than £10 each).Setting it up is really easy, takes about 5 seconds to add it to Find My (you have to follow the instructions, but pretty straightforward). From there, it's the usual Apple setup as for their own product.I've compared this from a connectivity perspective with the original Apple AirTag, and couldn't find any differences in terms of updates to the Find My network. The connectivity / tracking accuracy seems to be the same.You might be wondering, what are the trade-offs here?So far, the only thing you would be trading off is the Apple's Precision Finding feature, which isn't available with the UGREEN Smart Finder. You will be limited to seeing the device on the map and making it play a sound. You can see at the end of the video how loud the sound is, I would say it is pretty noticeable.Summary: If you're fine with living without Apple's Precision Finding feature, you can't go wrong with UGREEN Smart Finder, especially if you can get it under £10 when it is on sale. It's totally worth the money and does the job.

Cheaper than Airtags, just as easy to use. A little bigger and bulkier but PERFECT if you just want to track all the important bags and stuff in your life!Its not super waterproof, so careful when using it in swim or scuba bags but other than that, a great device with great location capabilities for iOs.
