I'm very happy with Armorica cod liver oil. I've bought all forms - the capsules, the lemon-flavoured oil, and the mint-flavoured oil that's fortified with natto. I rate all of it. I've been buying fermented cod liver oil for years. Fermentation was the traditional way of making fish oil, so I'll take my chances - and benefits - with this form, rather than whatever industrial-scale process is used to make most fish oil nowadays. I previously bought Green Pastures Fermented Cod Liver Oil - mostly the Blue Ice Royal version that's a cod liver oil and butter oil mix. It's perfectly good, but Armorica is better: * Armorica is less expensive (comparing say 120 capsules), so better value. * Armorica is made in the UK, whilst Green Pastures is imported from the US. I'm happier buying local. * Armorica tastes better. My kids cheerfully down teaspoons of the lemon-flavoured oil, and my older kid managed the mint-flavoured fortified oil, which has a stronger taste. Neither oil tastes particularly fishy at all. I never dared try Green Pastures oil on the kids, as it tasted too fishy. For a balanced review, the two downsides of Armorica are: * Armorica is expensive compared with normal shop-bought cod liver oil. However, to me they are two different beasts - I'm buying Armorica because I want cod liver oil made by a classic fermentation process. I'm not buying cod liver oil made any old way at industrial scale, just cos it's cheap. * The mint-flavoured oil fortified with natto is harder to take than the normal lemon-flavoured oil: the mint taste is stronger, and the oil thicker. However, I'm willing to take the hit for the natto benefits. Recommended.

Alright, size tablets okay? To swallow good product have not been using it that much so gonna see how I feel after two months.

You can tell the quality of this oil when you first put it on a spoon. It looks like no other cod liver oil I've ever tasted. Very potent stuff, and it is working well for me. If you're used to other cod liver oils then the taste will be nothing unusual, although the added natural lemon flavour is a good touch. Store in the fridge.

Very good but pricey

I've been a long time user of EVCLO, and have tried a variety of well known products. I like this - the website is informative and makes a trustworthy impression. I've emailed them in the past and they makers are very responsive. I can't say much about the flavours - I've never been sensitive to CLO taste, some people can't hack it. I'll happily decant it on a teaspoon and take it straight, so I can't speak to the sensitive folks. In my view the flavouring here masks the fish almost completely. That also means it's hard to gauge its native smell/taste as indicator of the product's quality, but I'll trust the makers (UK based). Unfortunately, the unflavoured is currently not available as an oil, only as capsules at a much higher unit price.

I have tried so many cod liver oil but I have to admit that it is one of the finest that I have used so far. So very satisfied with the quality of the oil. I did not find it very strong while having it and exactly what I wanted. I would say the amount I paid for the oil is good as compare to the price being paid. Overall a perfect cod liver oil with perfect flavour.

A friend suggested I use a more natural cod liver oil than the ones I was getting from Boots. Looking at these, the oil looks a lot richer than other cod liver oils, which makes sense because the oil isn't heavily processed. The seaweed/ gelatine capsules are really easy to swallow, which is a real plus, because I often struggle with taking any pill or capsule. Since taking them I'd say my skin is looking a lot more clear, but I know the real benefit is for my immune system. Overall, really happy with this.

I got the Sicilian Lemon flavor, and I was fully prepared to make that “holding-back-gagging” face. Instead, I blinked in confusion and said, “Wait… this is actually good?” It tastes like lemon vinaigrette went to therapy and found inner peace. No fish burps, no funky aftertaste, no wondering if you just drank aquarium water. Just smooth, lemony, weirdly pleasant oil. But this isn’t just fancy-tasting nonsense—it’s fermented the old-school way, so all the good stuff (omega-3s, vitamins A & D, etc.) is naturally preserved. No synthetic weirdness or mystery oils. Just pure, clean cod liver goodness from wild North Atlantic fish who presumably lived happy, fishy lives. Since taking it, I’ve felt more energized, my joints aren’t as creaky, and my skin has gone from “meh” to “hey, not bad!” Plus, it’s tested in the UK for purity, which makes me feel better about giving it to my family—and not just as a prank. If you’ve tried other cod liver oils and wanted to light them on fire, try this one instead. Armorica is the real deal—tasty, effective, and absolutely not a punishment.

Es handelt sich um ein hochwertiges Produkt, welches einen hohen Gehalt an natürlichem Vitamin A hat. Außerdem enthält es Vitamin D, Omega 3-Fettsäuren und einen Anteil an Jod. Damit handelt es sich um einen sehr gesunden und wichtigen Aspekt für unsere tägliche Ernährung. Mir schmeckt dieser Lebertran sehr gut, ich nehme jeden Tag einen Teelöffel zu einer Mahlzeit ein. Er bekommt mir gut Der Geschmack ist meiner Ansicht nach auch angenehm und gar nicht schlimm! Und er wirkt! Ich nehme diesen Lebertran jetzt seit etwa zwei Monaten ein. Ich war bis jetzt in der nass-kalten Jahreszeit nicht krank, obwohl alle direkten Arbeitskollegen bereits krank waren. Zudem hat meine letzte zahnärztliche Untersuchung am 19.12.2024 ergeben, dass ich sehr gute und unauffällige Zähne habe und keinen Karies! Laut der Zahnärztin hätte ich auch keine Parodontose mehr! Mein Zahnfleisch hat sich beruhigt und blutet nicht mehr. Meine Zähne sind beim Essen und Trinken unempfindlicher geworden. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich zusätzlich am Tag noch 2 Kapseln Magnesium (morgens und abends), zusätzliche Vitamin D3-Tropfen, Vitamin K2-Troofen und einen Esslöffel Omega 3-Fettsäuren einnehme. Ich lagere den Lebertran im Kühlschrank. Ein voller Erfolg! Und eine klare Weiterenpfehlung!
