I rarely write reviews. This product is useless. I bought 2 sensors on Amazon. Wore the first sensor after a few days. It worked OK for 4-5 hours and then started giving erroneous results and showed spikes upto 250. Then it quit working and said the sensor ended in barely 12 hours. I had recently used Free Style Libre from Abbott. The doctor gave me a prescription for just 1 sensor as I am not diabetic and she just wanted me to analyze the impact on sugar based on my eating habits. It worked well as advertized and never in those 2 weeks had my sugar spiked above 170. So it is clear that this product's readings are not accurate. Since I use an Android phone Lyngo from Abbott is not supported on Android. So i ordered this product. This not reliable, gives erroneous readings, stopped working within 12 hours and very diffiult, painful to remove with all the patches. The top layer patch doesnt even stick well. Please dont waste your money on this product. Buy Lyngo for FreeStyle libre instead.

I am not diabetic, however I was prediabetic until I changed my diet about a year ago (I mostly eat meat now, with a very small amount of low oxalate / low carb veggies here and there). I have had great success with improving my health, and how I feel - I wanted to see how various foods affect my blood sugar in real time, so I got this monitor to get a better understanding. It was painless to "install" to the back of my upper arm, I completely forgot about it most of the time, but every 15 minutes it would automatically send an update to my phone - showing me if I was in the target zone or not. I used my HSA card to purchase it, that was another perk. I don't plan to continue using this forever since I have my blood sugar under control, but I would recommend it to anyone (diabetic or not) who is trying to maintain a healthy blood sugar level at all times. It's very easy to use.

A good idea if it would work properly.First sensor worked as it should, except it only lasted ten days. Second sensor failed after three days, several times it was indicated that the second sensor had quit working and was told by the sensor to wait three hours to see if it would start working again. Third sensor failed after about three days and gave the same fault warnings as the second sensor. Not even going to waste my time trying to use the fourth sensor.The good glucose range that was given was 70 to 140. If the glucose reading dropped below 70, all that was indicated was "reading is below 70", no actual glucose number was given. When a person has a problem of their glucose dropping to 30 or less, the actual glucose should be given!The monitor never would indicate the same glucose reading as a traditional finger stick test.There was as much as 70 points difference between the monitor reading and a traditional finger test.We had high hopes of this sensor working properly, but was completely by disappointed by the results that we saw.I wanted to give a zero star rating, but one star is as low as of a rating that can be given.

this is my first experience using CGM so my experience could be different from others.Biggest issue- i applied on 7th april and it stopped working on 17th. hardly 10 days. that is not impressive.few other problems- reading is not accurate. i have 2 sets of glucometer (strip based) which i was testing every time i see a glucose spike. the number shown in the sensor reading and on the glucometer were off. atleast by 15-20 points.- while the number is between the range (70-180) it will match with glucometer but as it starts going above 180, it will start going off.- the plastic cover patch was not useful at all. came off in first 10 mins only. had to buy other patches from OTC pharmacy.- the sensor frequently went offline for few hours every now and then. so that phase you dont know what is happening with your blood sugar level. its like outage.frankly speaking, not recommended. better go for something solid.

Originally, this was going to be a negative review. First sensor I tried to use wouldn't pair. I waited and tried everything I could find and nothing worked. The good thing was that I went in and put in a case and Stelo almost immediately authed sending me out a replacement. So that was good. The second sensor failed and stopped working in under 12 hours. I was not happy. I put in another case on it and Stelo authed a replacement. Both were shipped out within a day of filing my case and I am happy to say that the replacement sensors worked flawlessly and have had zero issues. Comparing my readings off the Stelo isn't too far off from finger stick tests, so I am overall extremely happy with continuing to use Stelo (I have gone in and put in a subscription for it). With how close my measurements are and the customer support Dexcom provided me, I am happy with my purchase.
