Nice update to a classic design.
I wanted a gentleman's EDC knife. One that didn't vibe like I was some tactical test¡cle. Though a bit long, it sits nicely in a pocket.The lock mechanism is very positive, with no side to side movement. The blade was decently sharp straight from the package.

Wonderful knife, pretty much as thin as a knife can be.Made in Germany, the old-fashioned way. I'm willing to pay a little more for that.Locks up solid. Action is starting to smooth out a little already. Came Verrry sharp! Impressive!I like the Otter image more than the black cat personally.Also, fully stainless, no rust!I added a Kwik thumb stud to mine for one hand opening if I need it.Designed over 140 years ago. Very cool! 👍

A favorite for many years.
It looks great and feels great. It is slim, easy to open and sturdy. I had this knife 40 years ago and it was great then and great now!

This is a fine knife and yes a magnet will stick to it.. it is steel.. even stainless steel will react to a magnet unless it has a coating on it..Look it up!

Good knife but handle and blade are not stainless steel , magnet sticks to both handle and blade.

This brand has been in existence for a long time and is known for its German quality. I have others of this model and brand and have always been extremely pleased with all of them.
