Computing As A Sport

Here is a wonderful book, part autobiography and part popular science. Williams has a great story to tell, with more drama than a lot of us could record. His abiding love of both computing and science shines brightly through it all. I enjoyed the stories local to places I too have frequented, including Pasadena and Cambridge. And he reminded me of so many inspiring human achievements in science, technology, and mathematics, several of which he participated in.
