Reliable occupancy detection
Dijikeijs make excellent, good value products although their product documentation is often poor. Fortunately, configuring the DR5088RC is reasonably straightforward and it reliably reports block occupancy and loco identification (including direction sensing) for locos fitted with Railcom decoders (eg. ESU and Zimo). I use the DR5088RC with a DR5000 controller and they both interface well with JMRI to facilitate automated train operations.

The best Railcom detector on the market
This unit offers 16 full Railcom detector connections. The firmware is updatable via a simple USB connection to a PC. Connecting to a PC also allows fine tuning and adjusting settings through an easy to use program. However it worked straight out of the box for me!Fantastic value compared with other similar products.
