This kitchen island is so cute, sturdy and good quality for the price. It was easy to put together and I actually enjoyed it as a weekend project. Only thing I wish was better is the wheel locks; It still rolls even in the locked position. I plan to roll it out as a true kitchen island for extra counter space since I have a small kitchen and primarily use it for a coffee/storage station when not cooking or entertaining.

I started a mainstreet business and really needed a kitchenette area. This does the trick perfectly! The height, weight, and stability are fine for my purposes. But don't go into this purchase thinking its going to be heavy duty wood or hardware holes that are concealed. My wife doesn't like the look of it but it does the job I need it to do: hold trash can, hold espresso maker, hold microwave, store all the kitchen details away from client eyes, and it can roll out when I am hosting events. The assembly took about 2-3 hours and the instructions were great. I do love the USB port and outlets on top of mine. I use them all the time and they easily handle all the before mentioned appliances.

A forewarning - if you're not REALLY good at assembling flatpack, this will challenge you. I pride myself on being very good at flatpack and this took me over 3 hours and a host of tools. There are about 40 pieces and 20+ different types of screws and hardware. My advice - use a drill with adjustable torque and set it quite low so that you don't strip the screws, the material is definitely cheap particle board. Also, ditch the tiny included Phillips head for a wide flat screwdriver when it comes to the turn-and-lock fasteners. All of that said - this thing ROCKS! Very sturdy, looks GREAT, tons of storage. Drawers could be deeper. Soft-close cabinets feel great. The top is expansive, and the outlets are perfectly placed. More than stable enough to place our Kitchenaid on for pasta and breadmaking, rolling out doughs, etc. I probably wouldn't cut directly on it - the top isn't butcherblock, it's made like a door (hollow core). But it still feels plenty solid. I'm so impressed that this thing is only $250, I'd happily pay double. Many great meals will be made on ours. Highly, highly recommended!

I'm really pleased with how this looks. Took me a bit of time to put together but I was careful to really follow the directions step by step. They have a few spots marked ATTENTION when you could possibly make a mistake and I appreciated that as I might have! My advice would be to use a screw gun and get the bit for the allan wrench for your screw gun to make things quicker to put together. You will also need a flat head screwdriver. I don't know if I could have done this with the allen wrench it came with. It might have taken me a lot longer. I kept thinking somehow the doors and such would not all fit nicely but they did! The fold out leaf seems very strong as well. I would recommend this product.
