It looks exactly like the one I envied my friend had back in the 80's. It arrived safe in a nice wrapable box for under the tree. My friend's son is a tech nerd and helped me with some chores so I think he will enjoy this watch as it is retro teck which he enjoys.

It's just as I remembered it when this watch first came out. I could not afford it back then, but since technology has improved, the prices have gone down on many electronic devices. It still looks tech-stylish. The lug width is claimed to be 24mm, but if you are going to put in a new watch band, it is actually 19mm. Setting the time and date took a while, since I had to read the manual. Also read the manual to find out how to use the calculator, hourly beep, and stopwatch. It has dual time (DT), meaning it displays two time zones, but one time zone at a time. I use the dual time for Daylight Savings Time. The date is displayed as Year-Month-Day, and you input the numbers on the number pad. When synchronizing the watch, you zero the seconds by pressing number 0. It's a nice watch, utilitarian, and stylish in a techie kind of way.
