Great for Mac Book, Money well spent!
Overall, a great product and I highly recommend it to everyone. My specific setup is a MacBook Pro 13'', two DELL displays, and and additional USB accessory that I want always plugged in to my laptop (Yubikey).Unfortunately my monitors don't support daisy-chaining with Mac OS, therefore previously I needed to drive both of them from separate thunderbolt 3 ports. As a result, it was very difficult to use USB accessories with my laptop because I had to re-plug them every time I hooked up my monitors. I am talking about USB Yubikey specifically. In addition, volume controls over HDMI aren't great in Mac OS (there's no master volume slider). The dock fixed all of the problems above. I connect both my monitors, ethernet, and audio to it. It drives power and all IO through one cable and I can use my only other port for an additional accessory, specifically my Yubikey, plugged at all times. In addition, my master volume slider is back because the dock is discovered as an "USB Advanced Audio Device" with its own volume slider.Overall great purchase!

Almost, almost there...but USB3.0 is a miss, blink is a problem, and sleep a big one.
Running with my MacBook Pro 16-in 2020, needed a dock with native HDMI. Tried and returned a CalDigit TB3 - a very nice native-displayport dock that ran into trouble because none of the (yes, active) HDMI converters worked well at all. Couldn't drive it to 4K reliably on HDMI.The Sonnet is a keeper, but it's not all smooth sailing. IIRC, you get USB 3.0 and not 3.1, and whenever the monitor (a Philips 27in 4k) wakes up, it comes on and then goes black for about 5 seconds, which is a real pain.Worse still: upon waking from sleep, the dock won't recognize any of the USB HID peripherals (and won't see them to wake the machine). Have to reach over and use the touchpad and KB to wake, unlock, and you _still_ don't have a working KB and mouse. Have to unplug the dock (and hey, make sure and unmount any connected USB/TB/etc disks first, or you'll get the "you disconnected without unmounting" notice), plug it back in and rearrange all your windows, reconnect any servers that got thrown off the wired network.

Good dock, but makes noise if I plug in a usb c ssd..?
I've had this dock for a while now. It works for what I need it for.Recently I got an external USB C SSD. When I plug it in to the other USB C port on the back of the dock, the dock starts emitting noise. Sort of like electrical buzzing. When I unplug the SSD, it goes away. I've tried this on a second Echo 11 now and it did the same thing. This second Echo 11 was a year younger than mine, so not sure age has much to do with it. Very strange.

Amazing Product
I got this a couple days ago for my MacBook Pro 15 inch (2018). I had connected two monitors (one via HDMI and the other via USB-C), hooked a couple external hard drives, a small usb hub, an Apogee Duet, and a couple midi instruments. I plugged the included Thunderbolt 3 cable (though it is VERY short) into one port, turned on the computer, and everything runs exactly as it did when I had everything plugged into my Mac Pro. Everything was so plug and play and worked brilliantly. I'm very impressed with it and it does exactly as I needed it to do!

Best dock for MacBook Pro, but a bit pricey (for a reason)
This is the only thunderbolt dock i've found that can charge a 15" MacBook pro. All other docks only deliver 60w charging while this one is capable of 87w charging. It works great, has ample ports for everything and all you need to connect your MacBook Pro is a single usb-c cable (the one provided). What's great is you don't need to pass through your AC adapter because the dock acts as it's own charger, so you can take your AC adapter with you on the go.

A dock that's trouble free
Works like a charm on the Macbook Pro 2018 15 inch model. I was having trouble with the Cal Digit TS3+, which at first was weak with handling a wireless mouse (USB dongle), then after an upgrade to High Sierra, it lost the ability to charge my notebook. Decided to switch to Sonnet, as I've had great experience with using one of their Thunderbolt 3 PCIe chassis before. For the Sonnet, all the ports are working great so far.

Thunderbolt error
I would love to love this product but it didn’t help me to clean up my cords due to a constant thunderbolt error on my Mac when I plug it in. I will continue to look for ways to troubleshoot it but so far nothing.

Has issues with external monitors connected via HDMI port
I'm on a Macbook Pro 2017 - 15 in. The Sonnet dock works fine EXCEPT for the fact it causes intermittent blackouts on an LG monitor plugged in via the dock's HDMI port. LG monitor goes black/flickers about every 5 min. When the monitor is connected directly via the Macbook Pro (using a USB-C to HDMI adapter) the issue does not occur. Only when routing the monitor through the dock does the issue happen. When I contacted Sonnet about the issue, they replied with:"We believe it is a bug in Thunderbolt firmware that Sonnet does not control. We will report to Intel but we don’t expect to have a fix for it in the near term.Your 15” MBP has two independent Thunderbolt controllers (one on each side), and you may consider connecting the HDMI display to the other controller (not via the dock). We would recommend using a dual HDMI adapter here that will do this for you in the interim. We apologize for the inconvenience."Sonnet's solution of course defeats the purpose of trying to eliminate cables/adapters. I plan on returning Sonnet's dock to them.
