The latch works as described, it locks cabinet doors in place, and takes up minimal space inside the cabinet.However, there are two downsides to the product: 1) most of the components are made out of a plastic material that is rather flimsy. Even with a cam lock installed, when the cabinet doors are pulled open, the metallic bolt inside the latch body would be loose and might not fully engage with the catch. 2) The small screws do not keep the latch securely in place. Others can simply open the cabinet doors if they pull hard enough.Overall, the product just isn't sturdy enough in keeping cabinet doors fully locked, one would be better off using an elbow catch instead. If only the manufacturer had made all the parts entirely out of solid steel it would have worked better. 2/5 stars

Those latches are a wonderful piece of design deceptively simple but ingenious. World class product filling a niche in the market typically dominated by German and Austrian companies such as Blum, Hettich and Grass.
