Vargo Bot Silver One Size

I like the Vargo for its versatility as both water bottle and cook pot. I haven't used it for cold soaking yet, but I intend to. I bought the stainless version because the titanium was too pricey for me. I hope they keep that version available. Be sure to have a pot holder with you or a multi tool with pliers. I’m editing this years later. Still love this pot! Using the metal from a turkey foil pan, I was able to boil water, cook an egg and bake a bisquick biscuit at the same time. Learned it on YouTube but I sure didn’t buy the titanium foil recommended. Be creative!

Another quality item from Vargo. Fits tightly. Seems plenty strong for the size pot it's made for.

Great to have your bot as a a hanging boiler. The apparatus isn’t heavy at all, the only question is where to store it, if you’re storing water in your bot, so you don’t damage it.

This pot hanger would be great if you have the basic version of this pot without the folding handles. I purchased the Bot with the folding handles, lid, and hanging wire. But the hanging wire is attached to a solid foldable ring that is perfect size to slip up the bottom of the pot and tops out underneath the rim. It is designed to not come apart. The problem is that the folding handles prevent the ring from sliding more than halfway up the pot to be usable. So if you don't have the pot with folding handles this accessory works perfectly. But if you paid extra for the upgraded folding handles, don't waste your money on this. I'm giving it a low score because I think the company should have made it clear that it won't work on the upgraded version. The only way to use it is to remove the rubber seal from the bottom of the lid( which you probably will anyway if it's over a fire). Then slide the wire hanger up into its place. You can get the lid threaded down on the container enough to hang the pot, but it's essentially hanging by its lid so you won't be able to open the lid to check it while it's cooking without it falling into the fire.
