Best bag for the money!
I wanted a bag for random short-ish hikes in the Welsh hills. I wanted an established brand but as with everything on Amazon it’s riddled with random Chinese brands on the cheaper end. I spotted this bag pretty soon on in the search, looked good and had a decent price at £38, but I was put off by the massive amount of reviews saying about the side pockets being crap for drinks, even some YouTube videos said the same. The only other one I wanted was the Osprey Hikelite 26 and is £60 ish so I took a punt at this cheaper one, thinking if it’s really that bad I’ll just put the drinks inside the bag. Glad I did, the bag is perfect! The side pockets are totally fine for my use, the people with drinks falling out must be using seriously big bottles. As you can see in the pictures I’ve uploaded I had a 700ml coffee flask in one pocket and a 750ml water bottle in the other and they were completely buried in there, even a 1 litre one would’ve been okay, the bottles didn’t fall out once. The bag’s pockets are nice and spacious, the smaller pocket has a plastic hook/loop for attaching your keys to. The whole bag seems to be made out of a durable material, the zips are high quality as well. It’s made of a water resistant material but obviously not waterproof, would be good if it came with a waterproof cover like the Hikelite does but I just got a 2 pack off Amazon for like £8 so I’ll carry one of them just in case I get caught in some rain. This will make the bag very handy for taking mountain biking too, don’t ruin the bag with wet mud at all. I took the waist belt/strap off because I don’t need it but the chest strap is spot on, and it can be adjusted higher and lower on the sort of rails, probably helpful if you’re a female for chest comfort. The clip also has a whistle on too. There’s also a pocket for a hydration bladder though I haven’t used this yet. Overall very comfy bag, the back plate is rigid and supports the contents nicely and cushions the bag, had it on for a 5 hour walk the other week (where I took the pictures for this review) and it was spot on. Very recommended!

Excellent bag for day use and mini-breaks
This bag exceeded my expectations. I already own a larger Osprey backpacking bag and purchased this item for my fiance as a day bag/carry on bag. It is extremely spacious whilst being very lightweight. The straps/front pocket allow for so much extra space. It comfortably fits a 15inch laptop + case and holds around 6kg's of clothing - enough for 4/5 days away! The bag is extremely durable and very well made. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent travelling day sack
I bought this for a recent holiday to Thailand. I did a lot of research to find the beat day sack and went with this one. Its light weight but has plenty of pockets, big enough for everything i needed to carry around on day tours. Its comfortable to wear and doesn't suck to your back Trapping the sweat in. Highly recommend.

Good but not great!
Perfect size, great quality and finish, very light, compact yet spacious, super practical. I would call it a perfect backpack if not for 2 major flaws: 1. Water bottle pockets are not deep enough. They could have tighten them a little to prevent a bottle from falling out. 2. Integrated grab handle rubs against my lover neck making the wear very uncomfortable especially if you want to wear it high and tight when running for example. Many people raised those two issues before but osprey still makes the backpack the same way. What a shame...

Quality product
I bought a Daylite Plus from amazon and a Daylite from Go Outdoors in their Black Friday sale, primarily for a trip to South Africa. These daypacks are ideal for my use: warm weather gear with camera, binoculars and food for a day out looking for wildlife. I don't use the hip straps - these can be removed instead of being cut off on other packs. The main advantages are: LIGHTNESS and COMFORT. I have yet to find a better daypack.

Works great with Sojourn 60
I wanted a small day pack that could be attached to my Sojourn 60 while travelling, osprey say this one is compatible, however it exceeded my expectations in terms of fit and security. The straps on the pack loop through the fixings on the front of Sojourn, then the straps on the Sojourn go around the day pack, also concealing the bag partially, it fits perfect and looks very secure. Overall the bag looks good quality like most well known brands these days and lightweight. However, there are probably better daypacks. Pros and cons for me are; Pros *good quality, lightweight, *works well with the Sojourn, *has compression straps which is handy for items to be a fixed outside the bag, *handy extra pocket on the front, *waist strap, adjustable height chest strap. Cons *the compression part on the front is a pocket which limits its use a bit although I still managed to get a beach towel in it, *the interior is made from quite flimsy materials not like the great quality of the Farpoint bags for example, *there are no pockets in the main compartment other than a laptop compartment which is not the best for quality but ample and functional, *the back support does not look great to me although I am yet to try it on holiday in 90 degree heat. It is a thin one-piece flexible hard panel under mesh which is quite firm, with some slots in it. It feels quite comfortable indoors. When I first tried it with items in the bag, my camera made it bend inwards in the middle which was really uncomfortable. Also, there is space behind it for a water pack and I would think if you use that you may struggle to get the back board curving with and sitting well on your back. Being like a fixed firm board against your back is not the best design for me. I am also not sure how breathable and comfortable it is going to be although have not properly tested that. Other daypacks I have had like berghaus, north face seem to have better designed backs in terms of comfort and airflow. * the bag is not black to match the Sojourn. It looks like amazon have all the colour options, when you click the black coloured box you get a picture of a black pack, however the words above the small box say black/ blue. In fact, the front is teal blue and the sides are black so not like the photo. It is quite subtle but I really wanted all black to match the Sojourn. * there are 2 nets on the sides for bottles, they do not look very bottle shaped so not sure how good they will be. I have put a small bottle of water in it and it seems to hold ok but am yet to properly test it. Overall though, the pack looks good, is very lightweight and has some features I really like so I am hopeful I am going to like it.

You can't go wrong with Osprey quality and comfort. I'm a broad shouldered guy--5 11" and this adjusts/fits quite comfortably for me. I also own a larger Aether 60 AG for regular backpacking, Osprey knows what they're doing. I will say, I would personally consider this Daylite Plus pack a daypack only. Although it's on the smaller side, it will carry quite a bit, definitely enough for your day to day needs, including a nifty padded area for your laptop or Kindle. I'm actually taking it on a Caribbean cruise where it will be used for off-ship excursions as well as my carry on onboard the plane. The two-tone color contrast and overall style is phenomenal, I've already received multiple compliments. You can't go wrong with Osprey...highly recommend!

I have not used the backpack, these are my impressions. I've been shopping around for a day pack and have looked at several. I kind of love the Daylight Plus. The green is beautiful, it's like a forest green. The features I specifically noted when comparing to similar items: Quality - excellent. Sturdy and attractive zippers, fabric, stitching. Three compartments, 4 if you count the stuff pouch - Main large section, the cushion to protect and hold the reservoir can double as a laptop/device area when you're traveling. The center pouch has some little organizing pockets, which I find useful to keep small things from falling to the bottom of the bag. The whole space isn't very big, but to be expected for a daypack. The stuff pouch has support on the sides and won't fall open. The clips are good and also allow you to tighten the pack if it's not very full. The small zip pouch at the front is such good use of space, I wish other backpacks did this. Side pockets - one on each side. Large and feel secure because the pocket design has them attached close to the front. Useful when you are not using a water reservoir. Support - Hip and chest straps are a must for me. The hip straps are appropriate for this size, no pockets, etc. Shoulder straps feel cushioned. The airscape back provides structure and support while maintaining a compact design. I imagine this design feels supportive when hiking. I think it's too small for what I need....but I might keep it anyway. I'll update after I've had it for a while.

So I've had this product for two days now and will update this review in the long term. But so far this is exactly what I was looking for. I originally bought the porter 30 serious but it was a bit bigger than I wanted so I sent it back. I must know that I'm a minimalist and really was looking for something that could function for a travel pack and and every day pack hiking pack, pretty much an all around pack and that's exactly what this is. The size for me at 20 liters is really great. Immediately when I received the item might get a test to see what I could fit in it. I was able to fit 2 pair of chinos, 1 thin sweater, 1 thick sweater, 2 long sleeve shirts, 2 short sleeve shirts, 2 shorts, 2 underwear, 2 socks, 1 tank top, to supplement bottles and tsa-approved quart size liquid bag, 12 in laptop and charger. it was a little tight in the miscellaneous compartments but the main compartment could have fit probably one more shirt. So for me this is really perfect for any kind of travel I do as I travel light intend to wash my clothes in a sink. it also functions as the daypack for me with my tech job being able to bring my laptop and miscellaneous supplies. I'll soon test it out camping this summer. Overall the bag seams pretty quality build for the price. The straps are decently padded and pretty well sits on me and I'm a tall guy. my only complaint and this isn't enough to knock it down any stars as that the front organizational pocket could be a little better organized having a place for pens credit cards etc as opposed to to stretch pockets. Overall. I really like this bag so far.

I purchased this for a trip I did to the US - it was perfect for the plane as well as tripping around the country - it is not too big that it is cumbersome but not too small that you don’t have enough room. I also loved the extra pouch area that is for a laptop but I found it perfect for my iPad!
