Great Buy!
Bought two of these and used them for about a month with no issues. I paid between $30 and $40 (Can't remember exact ammount, but bought them in April 2017) and I don't think I could beat them for the price. I plan on buying more. Pros: - Worked straight away in Windows 7, Plugged it in, internal drivers installed automatically. I easily found and downloaded the extra driver, but haven't used it yet as I didn't need it. Using iSpy security software, I can still make any needed adjustments, like color, exposure, etc without installing extras. - Great, clean picture, - Decent sound, - lightweight, - Position is highly adjustable and it stays where I aim it. The base is grippy and bendable, so it will wrap around just about anything small, like a tripod, monitor frame, chair top, etc, - Easy to focus, - They look nice, Cons: - It's a bit slow when auto-adjusting to different lighting conditions, but that could be something in my software and not the camera itself... I'm not sure. Either way, you can't beat it for the price.

Great Image Quality
This is a great camera for filming high-quality stopmotion movies because of the adjustable focus, many resolution options, manual controls (exposure can be set to auto) and rotating joint in the middle. The stand is a little wobbly if you set it on a table but you can fix that in various ways. Stopmotion Explosion discusses one method on their website (if you're going to make stopmotion movies, their site and kit that they sell are great for helping you get started) but I bought a BESTEAM camera clamp and put the camera's stand around the tripod screw to secure it. This is a cool camera for a lower price than most I've seen and a good choice for stopmotion movie making fans ( I haven't tried the microphone so I don't know how that works) Stopmotion Explosion also has really helpful and friendly customer support. I was having tons of technical difficulties with the movie I was making and when I emailed them, they helped me fix pretty much every problem I was having! So, great camera image quality, and great customer support.

A Worthy Webcam
I bought a different webcam for $10 a week earlier and soon discovered that $10 doesn't get you much, not even a cord long enough to reach the USB ports in back of the computer. This Pro HD Webcam is a good webcam, well worth the price. It does work without the drivers, but you definitely want to download the drivers. The interface you get with the drivers allows you much more control over the picture. There's even a feature that allows the camera to lock on to your face and adjust the picture accordingly (panning over and zooming out to keep your face in the middle of the frame, for example). The interface is easy to use. Downloading the drivers for Windows and getting the interface up and running the first time wasn't quite as easy as it should have been, but I figured it out eventually. The built-in mic works, but isn't great. I recommend a dedicated mic, which you can buy separately and use with the camera pretty easily. Last, the camera does come with a little instruction booklet. Also, I received an e-mail from the manufacturer with some instructions and an offer for support, which was quite nice. If you need an inexpensive webcam, this is a good choice.

Stay away, terrible video and audio quality and setup is a pain.
Crap, utter crap. We bought two of these because I was going to be working from home and I was going to be "virtually" in the office during the day. First, these things will NOT work with Windows 10. I went online and downloaded all the drivers and it would not work. These claim to be plug and play, but they are not. We tried them on a Mac too, which was just as big of a mess. Then ended up plugging them into a couple old laptops running off older versions of Windows and still had to go on to the website to download drivers, then finally got them to work. The picture quality was terrible, so blurry. Yes, we were expecting a lot since we have the cam up on Skype 9-10 hours a day 5 days a week. The sound quality forced us to initially buy external speakers because the volume was so low. In conclusion, they are not plug and play, video is terrible and audio will end up driving you to spend more money. Plus the look is very outdated. I thought they looked nice until I actually started looking at other ones and realized how antiquated the look of these were. The boxing sucks, its a cheap cardboard box that barely fits the camera, with a thick manual, that's useless. Then the camera is in a plastic bag, like thats protecting it. That alone should have told me the type of company and quality it was. Do yourself a favor and just get the Logitech C615 for the same price, you will be so happy you did. Disclaimer - I am very technology inclined and know how to do most anything, so when I say these things are a pain and not worth the hassle, they truly are! Worked great, while it worked
I use a camera to record lectures and this one worked really well, but it only lasted 15 months. Just suddenly gave out in the middle of one recording. The clamp leaves a lot to be desired as well since it's a little too flexible and you can't mount it on a tripod. The quality of the video it produced was excellent, but I expected it to last longer than 15 months (almost to the day)

Great Camera for my kids
The kids have been getting into stop motion. The ability to control focus plane is a new tool for them. Also, this is a big step up from the web cam they had before. The color and all around shot quality is great. The flexible arm under the camera works fine, too. It's a creative, super simple way to be able to put the camera where we want it.

This company tells customers that the camera is compatible with chromebook right on the product page here- in answer to the questions customers have asked (more than once). This information is false. The driver directed to get from The instruction manual is not a driver at all, but a sales page to purchase the camera and nothing more. The “mount” for it is also extremely floppy and cannot be swapped out. I do not recommend this product. It’s a shame because this camera was recommended by the stop motion animation app we have been using, and I can only guess that was a different product than this one which uses a similar name.

Reasonably sharp video but the colours are a bit flat. The mount is too flexible and does not hold the camera securely. A tripod thread would have been better. Works with VLC Media Player. Click Media and select Open Capture Device. No drivers required for Windows 10. Would get a 10 if the mount was better.
