Q: Can you use any T-shirt or does it have to be a special cricut one?

It does not have to be a cricut product but it works well with polyester. You can even use the 50% polyester/50% cotton.

Q: Can it be use in 100% cotton bags?

It will fade if the bags are washed & the colors will be less vibrant if applied to cotton.

Q: Can you layer these sheets?

You can layer dark colors over light colors. Layering light on top of dark will NOT show up though.
