I was going to get a HC75 3000lm, but after using this, my HC60 1600lm operates completely different now. Excellent quality, comfortable, pretty lightweight, it operates of the battery first when plugged into the headlamp and is charging the headlamp battery. Completely different light management, so bright , I'm in no hurry for the other one with adjustable flood and spot, nice carbon battery design and charges on a C cable.

I've owned several headlamps and this is finally the best i have found. The battery life is great and it will stay on the high mode and not fade out after time. It's got good range and we love it for razor clam digging. Definitely work the money and buy the extra battery pack.

Works very well and as advertised. Battery life increases to a ridiculous amount of time which is exactly what I needed for camping and backpacking. Running at a faster pace makes it bounce a little more than I would like, but it’s still worth the buy

This is hands down the brightest headlamp I have used. It’s lightweight, easy to use and the battery life is great. If you’re looking for a solid hunting headlamp look no further.

I think I've just come to enjoy this brand for the function, value and overall aesthetic of the system. Here is a headlamp system (battery + headband) which I gladly purchased (twice now) to outfit two, HC65 UHE headlamps I bought earlier. One headlamp is my back-up... as some of us search-and-rescue folks tend to like reliable gear (in pairs). I don't have a longevity review yet... But I will add that extra bit of information as more time passes and I've used the system under a variety of situations. I can say though, after at least 2-months of regular use (both short and extended) that I like it. The standard set up for the HC65 UHE is great. No complaints. Battery life is wonderful (providing bright, adjustable light and reliability). But just knowing that I'm drawing from the extra battery on the backside of this kit (FIRST) gives me great piece-of-mind when I'm out at night and need to illuminate an area hands-free... while on extended walks or runs. Having a fresh, primary battery inside the light itself just feels right. I've used this extra battery system in rainy, chilly autumn downpours and I'm still grinning ear-to-ear at the value this system provides me (and my dog) as we're out and about in unlit (and occasionally sketchy) areas. The connectors are solid. I've not had any issues with them coming loose at all, whether I've tossed this system in a tightly-compressed dry bag or a loose bag with other items bouncing around with it. The simple headband adjustability, forehead slipstrip and general headband aesthetic remain (as it should). The battery itself is very long lasting (more info to come there with longevity testing). I do love the red charging indicator (4 leds) that give you feedback on the staus of your charge. This doubles as a rear, blinking, caution light (or guide light if you're in a group)... Or you can opt out of that feature entirely and turn that part off. Nice. Nitecore, have you done it again? At least for THIS guy you have. Yes, you have. Thank you!
