The definition of NASTY.
Ohmygoodness these are awful. The picture on the box is terribly deceptive. I observed ZERO cherries in them. None. Just red, cherry-flavored goo. Ewwww! When I was young these things were larger, plump and filled with actual cherries. No longer. Now they're flat, tasteless and disgusting.

With this horrendous Covid-19 Virus Crisis it is many time difficult to get out to shop at the bargain big box stores for our favorite food etc. This has forced me to go on line to order the vast majority of the things I need. One of my favorite brands of snacks is Hostess cakes of all kinds. I like almost everything they produce and when I saw this product (Hostess Fruit Pie, Cherry pie, 8 in inside individual 4.25 boxes) on Amazon I decided to purchase it.I was impressed with the very quick service receiving them in about 2 days; however, they were not in any way bargain priced ($14.86) at about $1.85 for each one. With this new “normal” one has to adjust with the times and begin looking at things in a new and different way. You must now pay for convenience as the products are delivered to your door in a fairly short period of time.In any case, if you are seeking a delicious cherry fruit pie you may want to check out this and other similar products on Amazon if you cannot get them at your local store.Rating: 4 Stars. Based on past experiences, Hostess Cherry Pies have gone downhill. Pastry is thin, filling is thin and there is absolutely no cherry flavor.
