Product works perfect and without issue. The tool kit has what you may need, with the guitar pic being the most important. There are no instructions as they point out, but plenty of YouTube videos out there. The glass was perfect, the pre-installed adhesive worked great. The case and old glass do take some effort and even force to open up, but persistence is rewarded. I found the best place to start removing the glass was on the long sides where the glass has cracked to the edge. Get the pic underneath there and work it around being careful with the LCD screen as it can be scratched. The broken glass will leave shards everywhere, so do it on a work bench or cloth covered counter top and carefully vacuum the unit during the process and the whole area after. I'm very happy and I think you will be too. Saved me from having to replace the unit and transfering data, etc. It even says Samsung on the glass.

This seller went to great effort to collect all the bits ad pieces needed for an easy and top-quality replacement. First-class in every way, even the tools are exactly what is needed. The only other large tool you'll need is the heat gun. Fit was perfect, function is perfect, I have nothing but praise for this product. The job itself is not for a beginner, and my first effort, but I'm a skilled handyman, so other than a few minor bungles it went well. I used YouTube for guidance. Excellence of the kit meant there was not a bit of trouble fighting with fit/finish quality issues.

My wife's Galaxy was in a soft case that fell off her nightstand, hit a corner & broke the glass. I have replaced a few screen on phones and an earlier version of this tables, so this is not totally foreign to me. This kit comes with lots of tools, the Digitizer screen and 0 included instructions other then to search YouTube for a video on how to do it. I did end using a box cutter to start the separation of the plastic case from the frame as I could not get it to release with the include guitar pick or other included tools. Once I finally got it started I was able to run the rest of the way around with the pick & metal tool to get the case off. Due to the falling & breaking, the screen was easy to release from the adhesive. I did disconnect the battery cable on the backside before I released the screen cable for safety of the device. After removing the screen & then feeding the new cable through the frame & connecting it back, I made sure there was no dust on the actual screen surface. Getting the protective film off was a little difficult to start but easy to remove once I got it going. CAREFULLY aligning the Digitizer screen and laying it down in place, you press around the edges to make sure it adheres. I then reconnected the battery cable, snapped on the back cover, really cleaned the new screen well & applied a new screen protector & better case! I think the only tool I used was the tweezers to help thread the cable through the hole in the case. (did use the thinner guitar pick & metal pry tool a little) I am glad to get all of the tiny screwdrivers as I can use them sometime when working on other electronics.

Useless and low quality, could not even handle the shipping. Th screen came in cracked and after contacting the seller, the suggested its shipping problem. Do not buy this low quality screen.

The screen on my daughter's tablet was completely shattered and she couldn't use it due to pieces coming off, so i bought this screen and replaced it myself. Replacing the screen was much easier than i thought, the lcd screen was intact so i just took the glass off and placed this new one on by watching a YouTube video. The thickness of the screen felt exactly like the original one, the adhesion stuck perfectly and doesn't move out bounce back at all and the touch screen has been working perfectly fine. With less than $30 the tablet like as good as new. I highly recommend this if you simply need to replace a broken glass screen but beware this is not for the lcd screen replacement.

Was not easy to do and now my tablet won't turn on at all. :(

I watched a couple yt vids walking through the replacement. Super easy, just be very careful removing the cables for the digitizer and battery, and when snapping the rear plastic housing back on to avoid cracking the new glass. Ive read a lot of other reviews where people cracked the new glass when reassembling the rear plastic cover back on. When doing this, place the tab face down on a hard surface and gently work the snaps back into place around the perimeter, rather than pinching the front and back together, as the spot pressure from your fingers can break the new screen.
