on how to truly see your surroundings
I came across this book by very happy accident; I'd searched 'turquoise' in my hunt for a gift for a friend. The Anthropolgy of Turquoise is a collection of essays, details from one woman's journey through life and the landscape of her homeland. I found it inspiring, moving and thought provoking. In this book Ellen Meloy encourages us to really see our surroundings and to appreciate their history and diversity with curiosity and tolerance.
