Pampered ChefMicrowave Chip Maker Set

I saw this on an infomercial and made an impulse purchase on amazon -- to my surprise these trays really work, and the chips I made were tasty, nutritious and fun. I was really impressed that it only takes 3 mins in our microwave. We tried carrots, turnips, potato and yam -- I haven't tried kale yet, but plan to.

Pointless

It takes a long time to cook and you constantly have to rotate the chips and the trays and it never fails that the middle chips burn.

love this potato chip maker. Don't trust other brands that are cheap. This one is perfect and so easy to clean the microwave after using it. I make sweet potato chips using mine.

If you're a chip lover like me, who tries to avoid unhealthy fats and are willing to do the work- (which is fairly substantial- slicing, drying with paper towels, laying them out in single layes, experimenting with different thickness's and cooking times, then REPEATING to get a respectable yield) then this is for you.

This chip maker did not work very well. It made only a few at a time and did not cook the slices thoroughly. I would not recommend this product.
