Mobile Antenna EasyTalk HH-N2RS Dual Band VHF UHF High Gain Antennas Short with Magnetic Mount for Car Radio Transceiver Kenwood Wouxun Baofeng, Yellow

I checked this antenna out before I connected it to my radio. coax was shorting out at plug , fixed plug with a new one, I then put the antenna on my antenna analyzer, to find out that the only frequency this antenna is usable is 146.250 to 146.420. could not check the 400 frequency, did not request a refund as I changed the plug on cable, and I could not be bothered with all the hassle.

I'm a bit disappointed with this antenna, having read all the good reviews I decided to buy one, after mounting it on the car I checked the SWR and thought my meter must be wrong it was so high, I swapped the antenna for a straight 1/4 wave and the SWR was fine, I have returned the antenna for a refund which is a shame as it looks very neat and compact.

I used this antenna once only with not much success, actually, with no success at all.The reception was very poor, and I am lucky I did not burn the radion on transmission, as when removed some kind of 'paper' from the magnet bottom I discovered that soldering is awfull, The central wire is fall out, and ground is all spred around, shorting center and bad soldered. Very poor quality. i will not use the antenna itself, as well. I cannot disassemble it without breaking, and having that poor worksmanship on the connections I cannot be sure in quality of antenna build. There is a high risk to damage your radio with antenna build as poor as this one. Avoid

Mag mount is ok, antenna is rig killing junk.Tried it on 2/70 on local repeater - s1 receive and wouldn't get in at all.My normal 770 whip was getting s8Only ran it on 25w .could t get heardSo put it on the vna....Swr well over 11:1 on 2m 16:1 on 70cmTook a hacksaw to it and it has signs of charring for the induction load coil as in smoke damage ..Didn't expect much...didn't get much ..wanted the magmount ...

Wow really impressed with This mini mobile antenna firstly the small magnetic base is powerful then the stubby antenna performed well across VHF and UHF bands with excellent swr readings across the bands and no losses had really good reports for signal even in poor signal areas it out performed other antennas

Don't let the small size and price put you off. Performs very well and credibly for such a small antenna.

Nice antenna, can't wait to use on my vehicle tested in the house and works great.
