Hexbug Spider (Color May Vary)

One of the highest selling toys from 2011, offered at a very attractive discount. The Hexbug spider is a fun way to arouse your child's inquisitiveness and provides food for thought in that tiny toddler's mind. Since it is a very slow moving toy, it's suitable for kids around a year of age, who wouldn't be able to run behind it but at the same time crawl and try to catch up. The body is made of a good quality plastic, and seems very durable. Be careful not to let your kid catch hold of it, because it's 6 tentacle-like legs are quite sharp and may injure his eye/mouth. Overall, a super fun toy under supervision of adults. Thank you seller for attractive prices.

This is an awesome geek toy to play with and customise! It's heavy on the little button cells though. So the first thing you would want to do is to hack it to use your own rechargeable 3.7 V battery!

Good toy for a kid. although it is slower than a spider :) but the kids just enjoy it and love to play. Sometimes even i keep myself busy with these hexbug creatures.

This is a first product I have seen which can in 360 degree. Also it can rotate and move at the same time. Good innovative product and fun for children as well as for adults.

Just about OK. Made out of not so strong plastic. The leg joints are not very durable and one of the legs in my spider popped out within a few days. The batteries don't last long. The MRP of this item is laughable and one shouldn't buy it for anything less than 50-60% discount on the MRP.

The product has the right looks however extremely disappointed as on receipt of the product the batteries provided were not working neither in the remote nor inside the main toy. Later after purchasing maxwell high quality batteries the product did run but it stopped functioning completely once we shut it down which was extremely frustrating for my kid and this was a real killer. Note that I gave it a benefit of doubt ( silly me ) and purchased the batteries again thinking that how could the product run for a short time but it gave the same disaster result and now it is just one of the junk toys in line which my son keeps for dismantling it soon !!I had seriously considered cancelling the other 2 products - the Hexburg Ant and the Hexburg scarab but fortunately I decided to take a risk and they are functioning fine.I would also like to add that in the past a year ago I had purchased a Hexburg Larva from a Retail store and my son still loves playing with it but I am afraid I will be now be extremely reluctant in ordering smaller electronic toys in the future from amazon as I have to take into consideration that there has to be accountability on both the parties when the product is not upto the standard expectations ( however small or cost may be ) sold by a reputed seller.

Superb technology with lots of entertainment and imagination thrust into your child. Really loved it. Fully satisfied with the product and the delivery from Amazon.

Must for every boy with toy :)Love playing with this one around on my desk. Swag.I got the orange color. The remote is handy and responsive. The unit is delicate so beware of that if you are buying this for small kids. One fall from the table and it goes straight to the bin.
