I gave this bookcase five stars because it completely met my expectations for the price. I used it to organize a corner of my home office, and it looks clean, modern, and fits the space perfectly. The 5-cube layout is great for mixing storage bins with books or decor, and the white finish gives it a sleek look.Assembly was quick and easy—I was able to put it together by myself in under 30 minutes. It’s lightweight but still feels stable once set up. REALLY IMPRESSED!! Considering the price of this product, it’s quality exceeded my expectations. The instructions were highly easy to follow and in total it only took 20 minutes with two people. It is a little on the smaller side (the size of 3 funko pop boxes or two vertical standing composition notebooks) but it is overall very cute and exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is the holes were a little hard to put the nail in the wood but if you use a drill it will be easy. The stickers that came with it to cover the nails are kind of an eyesore because they’re not the same shade of color as the product but it’s only noticeable really close up and really you can only see it at the top. Overall very nice product for organization and a cute addition to my room.

I did not have any of the quality issues listed in some of the reviews.I bolted a set of four and a set of three units together and added furniture legs. They are attached to 1x2 ledger boards at top and bottom. I wasn't sure about getting the units with the doors but I am so glad that I did. I'm telling myself that they distract from the “cheap bookcase” look–if only momentarily. Also I don't need everything I own to be on display.The reason I went to all the trouble of hacking seven little shelf units is that I could not find any half-height bookcases and especially not ones that fit the available space. Apparently there are plenty of full height corner units out there but for some mysterious reason you can't buy one that is half height. And you definitely can't get shallow ones. I considered buying a full height corner unit and only building halfway up, but these bookcases were more customizable and not any more expensive.

I only gave this shelf system 3 stars bc it's pretty solid once built, however it's not at all what you see in the product photos and expect to receive. The sides are not at all seamless; there are eight ugly nailheads that stick out on both sides. The manufacturer includes stickers, but the nails don't sink in far enough to keep the stickers from falling or peeling off, furthermore, the blues don't match. The back piece is not solid, it's thick cardboard with a cardstock paper surface and a piece of packaging tape down the middle. The back is held on by nails and you can see the center cut down the back of the shelves in front. The partical-board sticks out in several places. I haven't decided what I'm doing with this thing, but it's certainly not anything I want anyone looking directly at in my home. I wanted to let other potential buyers know what they'd be receiving if they made the purchase

Super easy to put together. I even timed myself for fun, says 30 mins and I had 13 minutes left. I also bought one a few years back so I have some experience with this product. Super cute and affordable in my opinion, a great size for your books and can fit almost anywhere.

Sturdy, beautiful and decent quality. The dimensions are a little smaller but thats on me for not checking that when I bought it. Its easy to put together took me like 20 mins. You'll need a hammer, and a good screwdriver. Be careful hammering the nails into the back as I accidentally went through and chipped mine. Very stable and can be used for many things!

It's a good shelf, but once it's built, it wants to stay put. It held a lot of books for me, but when I moved, it snapped and now it's kind of barely holding itself together, still full of books. Kind of like my personality. Anyway, easy build, it's probably a good height for most of us who are vertically challenged. It looks great when you build it properly and you show the green sides instead of the white sides versus altering the two colors because you and your friend decided after a night of celebrating to attempt to build it. Buy it!
