The FSFF 625 Whisper Long Range Sight and Replacement Cones Kit will reinvigorate your Blowgun game. Shooting sports have iron sights, scopes and other optics. Archery has fiber optic pins and scopes. Until now blowguns haven’t had a reliable sighting system. The current sights and lasers on the market have to attach to the front of your blowgun and don’t have the capability of addressing distance shots or quick adjustments for dynamic targets. This sight is designed to move up and down the shaft of the blowpipe effectively raising and lowering the muzzle, and trajectory of your dart, to keep your gun on target. The sight also will rotate around the tube from shorter to longer pins moving your impacts from right to left. With practice and lung strength this Whisper 625 Long Range Sight and Replacement Cones Kit will change your Blowgun from a plinking toy to an effective, precision tool. This Patent Pending system removes the “I haven’t been shooting in a while, I’m a bit rusty” to confident ready-to-go every time you are ready shoot. With practice your blowpipe sport shooting will go from an accuracy within 10 yards to out to 20, 30, even 40, yards inside 10” circle. The SIGHT snaps quickly on to all 625 standard blowgun tubes and the fetched replacement cones quickly attach to all market darts with 2.0 and 2.5mm shafts. When precision counts you can rely on the FSFF 625 Whisper Long Range Sight and Replacement Cones Kit. Robinhooding darts was never so easy and fun. Warning: Use with protective eye wear. Review: Note to the manufacturer: I hope you read this so I am putting these comments first. I’ve done an extensive amount of blowgun research and testing so I hope that my observations will carry some weight. This sight system is by far the best and most innovative blowgun sight available that is competition-legal, and I hope that the blowgunning community will realize the importance of this product. However, the stems that hold the fiber optic cable are very thin and easily bent or broken — please make the shafts thicker and stronger. A thicker diameter fiber optic cable would also be brighter and much easier to see than the small diameter cable that’s included, and providing different color cables would be a nice touch. Consider offering this sight in .50 caliber as well — a much more popular caliber for competition than .625 — or possibly including several simple plastic adapter rings that will allow this sight to clip snugly onto a .50 caliber blowgun. Thank you for your highly innovative products and for consideration of these observations. Review Summary: – These fletched dart cones provide a small (about 15%) but statistically significant improvement in accuracy. – This sight system is the absolute best allowed if you are competition shooting, but requires some setup and sighting-in; if you are not competition shooting then a laser sight is by far the most effective sight option (search for “Add a Blowgun Sight!”). Full Review: This is a bit of an odd package that includes both fletched replacement dart cones, and an innovative blowgun sight system. First the cones, as I suspect that is what most blowgunners will be most interested in. They’re generally well molded with little flashing. It took me a while to finally get around to actually testing these, and I will say that true accuracy testing of a blowgun or dart is extremely difficult. If you buy this package, you are not going to shoot 10 darts and notice a dramatic difference! There are so many variables, the biggest one being blowing consistency, that the only way to conduct a valid test is to perform a scored target series and run statistics to see if your data demonstrates a significant difference. I used Cold Steel Mini Broadhead darts and Mini Broadhead shafts on the FSFF cones for my comparison. The FSFF cones weigh slightly more than the Cold Steel cones so the darts were about 5 grains heavier, but actually had the same velocity (126 fps with a 5’ blowgun) when I chronographed them — so the FSFF cones may actually be slightly more aerodynamic despite the added fletching. I shot about 25 complete target rounds with each dart, and very early on noticed that I was definitely hitting the bullseye a little more often with the FSFF cones. Overall from more than 200 carefully-scored shots I got about 15% more bullseyes with the FSFF fletched cones. Actually running some statistical tests on the two data sets, the improvement was statistically significant (valid with a 95% confidence interval) by a very narrow margin — but considering how similar the two darts and data collection methods were this is actually really saying something. The bottom line is that these FSFF fletched dart cones are more accurate than Cold Steel dart cones, and PROBABLY also more accurate than most other standard .625 dart cones. These might also provide an even more significant improvement in accuracy for razor broadhead darts, which I have found vary more widely in performance than other dart types, but that is a much more complicated test for another time. Second the sights, and this is really the important piece of this package even if that’s not obvious from some other reviews. The significance here is that this sight system is legal for blowgun competition shooting (unlike laser sights, which I consider to be extremely effective but are not allowed for competition). It will take you some testing and practice to begin using this sight system, but for anyone who is not a simple instinct shooter this is the best commercially available .625 blowgun competition sight, PERIOD. For competition you are usually shooting at 10 meters, and after sighting in my blowgun for that range with the appropriate “pin,” I made one modification by cutting the other pins off. Use a small piece of electrical tape to EXACTLY mark the sight’s position and orientation on the barrel so you can pop it off and back on and still maintain your “zero.” Note that many “instinct shooters” who do not use sights are attracted to blowgunning, and if you are in that category I envy you, and this sight system will probably not help you. However, instinct shooting cannot be taught, and for the large majority of shooters a sight system will provide a significant improvement. Note that if you are not competition shooting, I have found from testing a wide range of blowgun sights that a laser sight is the easiest and most effective by far, and for more information search for “Add a Blowgun Sight!” The bottom line is that this is a VERY interesting and worthwhile .625 blowgun package for the serious blowgunner to experiment with, both for the fletched dart cones and the sight system. Review: KEEP MAKING THESE!! Cold Steel does not offer any replacement cones for their darts; and Slockmaster (currently) only offers replacement cones for 2mm wire shafts, which fit most of their darts like Speed Demons and their 7.5 inch long razor darts, but not the newer 6.25 inch razor darts with 2.5mm shafts. I have only seen a few cone options out there for replacements, and the other options are way expensive. These cones fit both size wire shafts. I have five bags of these, I stocked up. There have been no broken cones; no broken snap on sights; The sights work pretty well on the blowgun but move easily on the blowgun tube, so I bought some rubber cement to fix that. The snap on sights ALSO WORK on the Cold Steel Pro blowgun with thicker tube BUT.. the pins don't align equally because of bigger diameter and tight fit, so I had to pick a sight pin that works best for me and trim off the others. Good thing for extra sights! Different color cones, GOOD; They fit perfectly straight on wire shaft every time, GREAT; They fly more accurate more often than standard cones, GOOD; They shatter immediately on a robin hood impact, EHH; They are EXTREMELY accurate with a shorter dart shaft, for example: Slockmaster Speed Demon darts. I put one of these cones on that razor dart shaft to test and WOW. Straight and on target every time (well, 9 out of 10). If you have darts that are too long for you to hit accurately, start trimming the shafts one quarter to one half inch at a time until you find the dart flight that matches your lung power and you hit your target consistently. I think these cones work better with razor dart shafts than mini broadhead shafts, just my opinion. I would love to see these cones in bags of 100 or more for purchase!!

Love the cones. Improved my accuracy. Fits nicely in barrel and on the dart. I dont use the sight, too many years of instinctive shooting is hard to replace. It may work for you, just not my cup of tea. Sell the cones by themselves, please.

The sights are pretty useless. Besides , you really don’t need a sight on a blow gun, knowing how to aim and breath control is all you really need. The cones are good, they don’t receive damage if you shoot another dart on it. The Cold Steel cones are great until you get a dart through them and then you gotta throw them away.
