Learn Kannada Through English in 30 Days (ಮೂವತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯಿರಿ)

Most of the Kannada alphabets are too small to read.

. I already know Kannada and studied it till 12th standard, but for years I didn't speak it and forgot even the basics. I just wanted to refresh my basics so I could begin to read kannada novels. It's an okay book, which has a few typo mistakes here and there, but if you are practicing speaking Kannada with someone you can sort out any mistakes you make by yourself. It is helping me remember my lost Kannada.

The content is very good but if it is unreadable then it's of no use. The print quality is also poor.Avoid buying this book.

This is a very good book for learning basic Kannada for day to day use. It was well packed and arrived in very good condition.

Pros:- Okey-dokey book to start with if you are new to kannada.- English transliteration for most parts (60% to 70%).- You can learn basic kannada words and sentences in few days.Cons:- English transliteration is not provided for about 30% to 40% of book content. One has to learn kannada alphabets to cover those parts, which is hard and time consuming for beginners.- Font size is too small for kannada script. This makes it difficult to read and decipher kannada alphabets.

The book should be named "Learn Kannada in 30 days (if you already know Telugu, otherwise don't bother buying that) ".The print is just bad: lots of Kannada characters are not printed well so it is even hard to learn alphabet. The grammar part is very shallow. Hard to understand if you have zero experience with drawidian languages before.Then it gives a lot of examples of translation of English to Kannada without transliteration and explaining which word means what, what is an noun here what is the verb and why the ending is here of there, just like Google Translate gives you.
