Time for Kids Dinosaurs 3D Hardcover – August 13, 2013

If you have or know a five year old boy or girl who loves dinosaurs then you must get this book. The dinosaurs pop out of the pages with the enclosed 3D glasses. And the writting is geared for children as well as adults. Great fun learning experience.

The pictures are wonder.

Great artwork that 'pops' off the page. If your kid likes dinosaurs, he or she will like this book!

My 7 year old screamed the first time he used the book, then spent the next run through trying to scare everyone else in our home. He loves it!

The book would have been great EXCEPT for Time's Editors. No one checked the book while wearing 3-D anaglyph glasses! Some of the pictures have reversed 3-D coloring, making the dinosaurs go back into the page rather than sticking out. It's OK, though. Reverse the glasses (blue on the left and red on the right) and the pictures can be seen correctly. But it's a shame that the editors never caught SO MANY of these color reversal errors before publishing a flawed book, just because they didn't edit it while wearing 3-D glasses! My students love the book, but it didn’t come with any 3D glasses!?

The 3D effect of the pictures isn't that realistic and also caused major eyestrain for me. Other 3D books have produced more impressive 3D images without the eyestrain. The text is too dense and boring to add much value.

So much fun for kids and parents! This is really a great gift idea for kids!! We highly recommend these books!
