Magnificent and world class quality
Somewhere in Japan is a design genius. Stunning design and execution. Superb build quality by one of the world's best test equipment makers.I have used Fluke and other multimeters professionally for many years. I also own one of the new mid-priced multi-meters that does nearly everything. But, this one is my favorite. I normally check only a few things: DC volts, AC volts, resistance, and continuity. These are these only functions this device checks. Auto ranging. Icon driven selector switch. Leads permanently attached. No chance for error. So small, it is always in my tool bag. Fits in my shirt pocket. Yes, pricey for what it is. For many, the cheap units from Harbor Freight have more functionality and much lower prices. By all means, trust a Harbor Freight or no name unit if you must. By all means, buy a high-end Fluke if you can afford it and have the space for it (the low and mid range Fluke units are now made in China). For most, this precision only-made-in-Japan unit is the unicorn.

Almost everything in a small package
This meter can measure and test almost anything except diodes and capacitors.AC/DC volts, resistance and continuity. But lacks diodes and capacitance readings. Capacitance is feature found in medium to higher end meters but diode testing can be found in $15 multimeters is these days.Instructions are in japanese only but a meter this simple doesn’t need much instructions to use.Very good meter. Recommended.

Nice meter
Very nice except for the case....the case is almost unusable and will likely last one month.

Great high quality tool
Heoki is a great brand and I needed something compact and simple for the tool box. I decided to get something that would last as opposed to the five dollar specials at every parts and tool shop.

Lightweight and efficcient
Very easy to use for basic testing and troubleshooting without having to carry a larger, heavier multimeter. I carry this in my shirt's pocket and i forget about it until I need it. Stores in its own case so is protected and the leads are also neatly stored.

I have a small meter
It is so nice having a small meter that easily fits anywhere. I think the only thing I can find wrong witht eh meter is that the leads can't be swapped out.

Frustrating.
This review isn’t about the item’s functionality or durability. I’ve not used it yet, despite have had it for many months. In fact, I purchased a different model to use.My issues with this: using it is not entirely intuitive. The instructions that come with it are not in English. I had to go to the mfg web site to find instructions in English. Unfortunately, this device takes a little more dedication and effort “out of the box” to use than I like. I want to be able to open a box, find instructions for the product, and read them (using the magnifier in my mobile phone if necessary). I don’t want to do an online search for operating instructions and then download them before getting started.

Great pocket meter, you can easily disable the piezo beep
I really like this meter and the build quality, however like another reviewer I was irritated by the beeping, so I removed the piezo buzzer contactors, there are two black conductive silicone rubber studs that connect the gold piezo disc to the circuit board, I simply removed those two black conductive rubber studs and no more audio feedback.I think a backlight and slightly faster ranging would be great additions to this meter, perhaps an NCV tester with separate button, I despise always on NCV alert functions like on my extech.
