Such a fun TOY
Such a fun toy for my 4&6 year old girls! We gave them this and a backyard bird book for their birthday. They have really enjoyed looking and listening for all types of birds we have here in East TN. I will say its not the most quality set as the lens covers fell off binoculars the first day and they don't have much visual magnification and the specimen collection cup has poor design but it is a toy under $25 so that was to be expected.

Gets the kids outside!
As soon as we got this unplugged explorers kit, the kids took it outside and started trying everything out. My son walked around blowing the whistle for a good 10 minutes and they all loved using the binoculars. Everything in the bag helped spark their curiosity with their outside surroundings. Fun Kit!

Great gift for kids!
I bought this, along with a grow your own butterfly kit for my neice for her birthday. She was so super excited and loved everything it came with. Together, the two make a wonderful pair.

Discovery kits were perfect for exploring the woods.
The quality of the binoculars and compass was very good. My grandkids love bringing them to different places to explore the flora and fauna. Recommend the kit for learning about bugs and plants and watching birds.

Good for pretend adventuring
Not overly impressed. Great for a 3-4 year old who wants to pretend adventure, but dont think the material of the items will last any length of time

My girls loved this
We go on an annual long camping trip and I always buy the grandkids something special just for camp - they can take it home after - I bought this with a camping journal and presented it to the kids the first night of camp - they were off exploring and documenting first thing - they used these every day - the backpack also has room for snacks on hikes and other little things - kids ranged from 9 to 18 and all had a great time

More than expected
I bought this for my niece for Christmas, and she LOVED it. The quality was higher than I expected for the cost and what was included. I was pleasantly surprised, and she had so much fun exploring in the backyard. I would gift this set again.
