OscoHi-Gloss Index Box with 100 Cards/Coloured Tabs - Black

Could have been a great product... But the entire end was broken and un-usable and so was the lid. The item is exactly as described. And would be a very nice edition to anyone's kitchen/countertop. It holds 4x6 cards easily and comes with a full set of A-Z dividersas well as cards.I wanted to return the item but it was going to cost more to return it than I paid for the original purchase including s&h to start with. That's even taking into account the refund of up 20 dollars return S&H Amazon would guarantee. So I just kept it.No- I would not order it again and NO I would not recommend it. Wouldn't want anyone else to end up with the same kind of damaged product.

I went round and round trying to find the size and color recipe box I liked. This clear acrylic box is well made and durable. It looks pretty just sitting there. It does not come with recipe index cards but rather A-Z index cards. I plan on using them in the office.

Such a shame to receive a broken product! Looks nice, otherwise. I was excited to use this product because it is prettier than the typical black index card box - may have to use an ugly one ) :

This was just what I was looking for. Not to big, not too small, the clear looks good on my desk, and the design on the lid was better than anything else I have seen. Great choice to file info cards on my clients.

Box and contents are fantastic, neat little box, cards are on the thin size but ok.DONT DO WHAT I DID AND BUY THE ‘TWO TOGETHER’ OFFER WHICH SUGGESTS THAT YOU BUY AN ADDITIONAL 100 RECORD CARDS - THEY ARE THE WRONG SIZE!!! Now I have to cut down 100 cards to the correct size. NOT the fault of Osco Europe LTD, Amazon have paired these up. What’s even worse is that I’ve been caught out before fool that I am!

I love this little box. I bought the 6 x 4 size and have found that the index cards, although a little thin, are absolutely brilliant for my purposes. To be honest I don't want cards that are heavy weight as this would become a problem when I come to need more than the 100 supplied. I would like to be able to keep a lot of cards in the box and the fact that the cards are thinner allows me to do this. I am a book nerd, and yes I know this is completely sad but I now like to keep a record of the books that I own. I have been known to buy a book online or in the shop, and then realised I already have it at home but it is under the 'book to be read' category. This box allows me to record all the books I own, and it also serves as a good memory prompter as just writing the details of the book on a card helps me to remember what I already own. Why not use an app? I hear you ask. It is purely the aesthetics of this lovely little box that I find appealing. It doesn't take up much room, it is well constructed and has a hinged lid, so no faffing about trying to fit the lid back on, or losing it under mounds of paperwork etc, which infuriates me. The alphabetised index cards are excellent quality. I am going to buy some plain 6 x 4 index cards so that I can print all the book information onto them. Much tidier and uniform than my left handed scrawl plastered all over them. Buy this. It's great for so many purposes. I am getting another one for my Uni work, for references and learning outcomes etc. Highly recommended.

You can't pick up the box without the cantilever getting in the way , moving up and down . To open the box is by the cantilever which wavers if you don't use a hand below and a hand over the top . You have to use two hands because the box itself is lightweight and just moves about - no resistance . If you're sat at your desk and just want to flip the lid - no chance . Wish I had bought something more heavy and substantial with a quick flip over lid . The box itself really isn't big and neither are the cards . The cards are of decent quality . It's workable but it won't be too long before I go bigger , stronger , easier and better .

I purchased this product to keep 3x5" sticker sheets in, and it fits them perfectly. It came with dividers and index cards inside. The dividers I am using, as they are very very attractive, but the index cards I have taken out and I can't attest to their quality as I haven't used them.The box feels pretty sturdy and well-made. I have had it on my desk for a few days now, and one thing I have noticed is that it picks up scratches quite easily. Aside from that, it feels pretty strong and like it could last a while. The lid has a nice action and the acrylic is nice and clear.All in all, I'd recommend this as a box, either to keep 3x5" index cards in or things of a similar size. There is a little bit of space, so you could get away with something slightly over those dimensions.

I bought this as a replacement for another box that had become too small. This seemed to be a10mm or so bigger. But in fact the extra size is all on the outside, due to thick hinge/mounting arrangement for clipping the box into some kind of rack. As a consequence the inside depth is actually smaller than my existing box so its not much use. I'll find a role for it but not the one I bought it for. Other than that its a nicely made box.
