PSTricks: Graphics and PostScript for TeX and LaTeX Illustrated Edition

filled with pictures/graphs, full of information . easy to find what I need without reading the whole book.

One would argue that the information presented in the book is freely available on internet. This is true. Before I purchased the book I spent a lot of time searching for examples that I needed. Pretty soon I realized that my time is more valuable than $30 I paid for the book. All the information about PSTricks collected in one 900 pages volume. Well worth the money. By the way, PSTricks allows me to produce professionally looking plots. Do not hesitate to buy the book. Well written with a lot of examples. The code for many examples could be found on the author's website.

This text has everything you can imagine with Tex. It is clearly written and illustrative with many examples. I recommend this for an advanced user of latex / tex. I use PCTexv6 and I had no problems locating pkgs. and installing.

Good bookNice to have info all in one place

Excellent book with clear examples. Examples are linked to other sections in the book, making navigation easy. Shows again how much is possible in LaTeX.
