A little bit of a struggle to us
The light stand that I use is nothing special and the spigot that is on the top of it is just standard. I don't know why but it was very difficult to get it on and be sturdy, in the end, I managed to get it on.I use this to attach my boom pole to light stand using a boom pole holder, it has a "good" grip on the boom pole holder but I'm not sure how long it is going to last.Something that annoyed me was on the side where it goes onto the light stand there are 2 holes and around the second hole there are lots of marks and it looks like when they were machining it there was a problem. (Nothing a piece of gaff tape can't fix)Overall I would recommend this item (it probably should be cheaper) but I am not sure how long it will last

It does the job, but you need sand bags for security
Good combination with pole holder for top of any light stand. I wasn't sure at first, but straight part that goes into light stand have different size on each side. If you don't have extension pole, just use any monopod in combination with pole holder and don't forget to use some sand bags as it will be front heavy!

Good quality product!
I have tried a few budget light stand adapters and some have been rubbish, so I was very pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It is strong and robust. Overall very well made and simply works!When you are attaching expensive lights to a stand, you need to be confident that it will work! I would have no reservations in recommending this. Very happy.

brilliant for boom mic
essential piece of kit if you use a rode boom, prob any boom but I use an s shaped boom holder with quite a narrow mounting rod and this holds it perfectly - very well made as I've come to expect from Neewer
