Super easy us right! Chords for left land are there in easy tablature. Simple Melody notes are presented on the staff with the name of the note “in” the note. Very clever.

Bought this book to teach my children how to play piano. Fantastic selection of songs and very easy 5-finger piano for the right hand. Every note is labeled, most of the songs are in the key of C (no sharps or flats) and the tempos are fun and easy. The book also lists matching major chords and shows the fingering for the left hand above the staff, so once you learn the right hand, you can play the base clef with chords. At first, I played this for the kids (not necessary but fun), and soon they learned the chords themselves. Proud day! And allows this book to go from early beginner to early intermediate. The songs aren't the full Disney songs, but are usually 1-2 pages long and let you play the bulk of the music with corresponding words (also included which is wonderful!). Our kids have enjoyed learning on this book, and even though I'm more advanced, the songs are fun and easy to play when I add in the left hand on my own. Overall - a really fun book to have for the piano. Will probably always be a regular staple in our piano books.

Songs are super easy and have the note written inside as well. Has all the top songs kids love. Also has a diagram at the top of each page showing where each note is. Not alot of sharps, flats, or notes that have to be played simultaneously

This book is used by my 5 year old daughter learning piano, she has been in lessons about 3 months. It is a good compliment to the other beginner books that her teacher gives her. The Disney songs are more melodic and can sing-along. If the kids like the movies it is extra motive to learn/practice using the books. The only reason why this is one star is the book teaches to play using right hand only - everything is written in treble clef. Yes this makes it easier to learn but I kind of want my kid to use her left hand as well. Yes there are chords available too for each song that the kid can use left hand to play but I don’t think chords is for beginners and this book is for beginners… so what gives? I guess the parent can play the chords part? Still, the book is good as supplement to core curriculum. Fun to play and easy to pick up. Just not suitable as primary book for learning- which probably is not what it was design for anyway.

My grandson is 10 and recently started playing a small organ that belonged to my grandmother. He had been playing songs out of an old beginner piano book I had. He loves to be able to play some songs that he's familiar with. It's a great book for beginners. Not a struggle for him to play like some music books.

Very nice, easy learning book

My kids are just starting to learn to play the piano, and these are great for beginners, especially those just learning to read notes while playing. They love it that they can play familiar songs, songs that they always hear on their favorite movies, so that's a huge plus. I myself had been in hiatus for more than 20 years, and I liked that I can still play using the simple songs in here (started when I was 15, stopped when I was 17, so am not really a pro, but still misses playing once in a while). Only problem is that the book appears so worn out now, as this has been the favorite in the house since we got it 5 months ago. They liked it so much they brought the book to neighbors to share to kids their age who are also just starting to learn piano (from Youtube). Great purchase for me, but I am going to photocopy their favorite pieces so the book stays intact.

This book has a large variety of songs from many Disney movies. I like that it gives the chords that can be added to the left hand. Also like that the notes for the right hand have the letters inside them. The songs can be played solely with the right hand. It is good for someone just starting out or someone who has not played in a long time and enjoys Disney songs. Also, the words to the songs are included in the music.

Got this for my 8 year old granddaughter for xmas and she loves it. Is learning the songs in her piano lessons and finds them easy to and fun to learn

Estou adorando o livro, ele é ótimo para quem está começando. As partituras possuem apenas a clave do sol, a clave de fá é substituída por cifras, o que facilita bastante. Só fiquei um pouco triste porque, para deixar as músicas bem fáceis, a maior parte delas não incluem os trechos não cantados e por isso ficaram reduzidas. Mas os refrãos aparecem em todas as partituras, então é bem legal mesmo assim.

I've been using this book as an adult to learn to play as a super beginner. Most songs are easy enough to play and lots of popular Disney songs in it.

10 year old daughter loves this book. It is nice and thick and has a huge amount of Disney songs. She plays the keyboard when she is bored and is not attempting to learn how to play properly and so its really easy to understand (as has the letters on the notes - which make it absolutely ideal for a keyboard beginner or someone who plays very occasionally). The songs are easily identified even when playing at a slower pace which makes her happy and motivates her to want to play more.
