CRL Glass Running Plier

Working as intended. Nice and clean. I’ve made hundreds of breaks on quarter inch mirror with these so far, and they’re still working like a champ.

I bought these pliers for a special project - an 8' x 3' cathedral window where the glass alone cost over $1000. I had to make curved cuts over 4' long. The pliers did a great job. They are light, precise, and powerful. Yes, they cost more than the many others available, but for me, well worth it. I did not ruin a single cut.

Works quite well for running narrow cuts. Reasonable price. Different configuration of pressure bars so takes a little time getting used to, but nothing highly unusual. A good tool to have in a Mosaic Workshop. These need to be advertised more widely so more mosaicists become aware of this option as an alternative to traditional running pliers.

These pliers are lightweight but sturdy and can break thicker pieces of glass with no problem!

Way to expensive

It does not cut well for glass thick than 1/4 although the technical spec said can cut to 3/8 thick glass. But it does cut well for 1/8 thick. I returned this one and bought CRL Plate Glass Pliers to 1/2 inch one, and that one cuts very well to 5/16.

These pliers work well for running scores in thick glass (1/4" to 1/2") These have held well after a couple of years of use in a factory where we use them many times every day.

I moved into a home, and the previous owners had mirrors that would not fit and so I was able to cut down the mirrors, and run the cut without a problem!! I love those pliers, made the job so much easier!!
