Purchased this for our club boat house which is a relatively large multi room unit. The building is isolated and sits partly over water which is a very problematic situation requiring special provisions for safety if a normal power supply is installed, however as this is low voltage all those safety issues do not apply. Very easy to install, no electrical knowledge or skills are required. The pre fitted plugs and set cable lengths are a bit limiting for my needs but these are what makes it idiot proof for installing so I can see the reason for them being like they are. The system has been installed now for about 6 months and is better than I could have hoped for. The light output is very good, the building we use it in is not used for long periods so I cannot comment on the run time of the battery as we never get near the limits of the system but the lights are always fully bright. The lamps are LED so are plastic not glass so very tough plus they operate cold so there are no heat / fire issues to worry about when installing them. Overall the system is fantastic, simple to install and use, pretty much maintenance free and should give many years of service, I have no hesitation in recommending it, it is especially useful in the situation we have with a remote building in which we are not easily able to get power to and not permitted to to major changes to because of the lease condition.

Excellent power lighting system. I bought this one for the wife's log cabin and she's really impressed as one light is enough to light up the cabin. My own cabin has the same brand but with a 100w solar panel which has been very reliable for the last 3 years. One reason I chose to buy this product again. Highly recommended.

Just finished installing it and all bulbs illuminating so hopefully it'll stay working. I installed it in a steel shed and hung the lights on the support framework using tie wraps and fed the cables through plastic trunking. Not particularly demanding but could have done without the inline switches which meant I had to put the trunking up in more sections than i would have liked. Only time will tell how effective the solar charging goes.

We have had this installed for about a week and so far it is working brilliantly. It took a few days to fully charge the battery and is not being used that much at the moment apart from to charge mobile phones whilst at the stables, because of the light evenings. The bulbs are bright enough and we are using them to give light in 3 x 12'x12' stables plus a 12' x 18' tack room and they are more than man enough for the job. we can't use the individual switches on each bulb due to their height and positioning but find this is easily overcome by removing the plug on the battery unit for the individual light\lights not required when the unit is on. We purchased brackets from the same seller as we read that they were not provided and my husband made up a wooden frame to attach it to the roof very simply. Very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend!

Incredible bit of kit. I bought this for my cabin. Although that is not finished yet so I cannot install this system I have tested it in my conservatory and the light is far better than I expected at this price. I will update this post when the system is installed and include a small video for you. First impressions though are that this is a well made system with powerful lights that would suit stable blocks/cabins/shed (maybe too bight for a small shed) and garages with no external power. My only small complaint is that the main on/off for the lights is on the unit itself. Personally I would have preferred to have a central on-off on a cable as well so you do not have to have the main unit mounted in full view. Having said that you can hide the unit and use the individual switches on each light cable.

Sadly, I regretted this purchase. After a few months, the battery failed. The company would not supply a new one. I’ve now bought a proper battery rather than the unbranded Chinese clone I found in it. Obviously this was hassle because there were a number of things that, they informed me, that would cause the fault, so if you don’t know how to test a lead acid battery or can disassemble the control box, then go for a more reliable brand [2021] The whole thing has now packed up. It has given nothing but trouble. I’m amazed that it is getting such good ratings. I’ve taken it apart and it is cheaply made and not worth fixing

I use this set up to light my outdoor stables, it works an absolute treat. It’s super easy to install and provides about four hours of light per day in the autumn, about two hours in the winter and hours of might in the summer. Really recommend this item.

It is OK for non living rooms . It is OK for small store or home garage . It is brit but not powerful lighting for use inside the house it is not working with me.
