Discontinued keyboard, do not buy
I'm glad I bought this detachable keyboard and not a keyboard case, which would have been restrictive when I wanted to use just the tablet -- iPad 2017 in my case. The pairing is usually quick, but sometimes, during a period of use or while pairing at the start of a session, though it shows as connected, there is no key response. This is usually fixed by alt-tabbing between programs. Don't know why this glitch exists. I haven't tested the battery charge fully. The manufacturers claim three months on a single full charge, which seems a bit steep. For me, the keyboard does not add an unreasonable amount of bulk to the iPad, though some users have reported they find the whole package heavy. The magnetic hinge grabs hold of the tablet fairly quickly and locks into place when you move the two close together. Price-wise, it's a little steep - at about 28% of the cost of an Pad itself.UPDATE: 27 July, 2018This keyboard stopped working six weeks ago. It would connect but not function or refuse to connect altogether. I've approached Logitech for a replacement and am waiting on it.UPDATE: 27 Sep, 2018Logitech say the product is discontinued and they will offer a refund, not a replacement. I've now been waiting about two months for a resolution but there's none in sight. I haven't received a refund yet and the service centre keeps telling me they're talking to Logitech to sort things out.UPDATE 9 Nov, 2018This unscrupulous seller, iBhejo, knowingly sold an outdated product that was no longer supported by the manufacturer. I am in the process of following up on this with Amazon.

Excellent product and perfectly matched with the iPad air
Excellent product and perfectly matched with the iPad air. The only thing I found a little inconvenient is that the keyboard doesn't easily double up as a cover for daily use. So I actually bought another flip magnetic cover for daily use when I am using the iPad air purely as a tab.

Pricey but good product
Amazing fit for the iPAd air, feels like an original accessory as colour matches too. very silent keyboard with nice resistance and spring back.

Must Have!!!
Awesome! This is a great purchase. I have one of these for my ipad mini and I upgraded to the 2018 Ipad 9.7 in. I needed a keyboard to use at school. I like that this is detachable and is not in a case like a keyboard case. It does attach to your ipad via magnets so you can close it like a book. However, you cannot have a case on the ipad if you wish to carry it around like that. In cases where I wish to have them attached, I will slip it into an ipad sleeve. Sometimes I carry the ipad in its case and the keyboard in a sleeve and then remove when/if I need to use the keyboard. This doesn’t bother me as I like to have many options available. It doesn’t lag, connects instantly through bluetooth and initial connection literally took 5 seconds. Easy to charge via micro usb that is provided (the one in the picture is my own, the one provided is white). On my ipad mini one, the charge would last upwards of 3 weeks - will update with this one but I have no doubts, I used the mini one for 2 years and never had any issue!

I like how it looks and feels
I like how it looks and feels, but it came with the battery completely depleted. After having it fully charged it only lasted a day of light use. Looks like the built-in battery past it's use by date due to it's age. (1 star)UPDATE: After two recharge cycles it seems to be holding the charge for over a week of light use right now. In all honesty I do like the keyboard itself for it's ease to type on, to carry and to detach when needed. Since my first review I also tried the new Brydge keyboard which felt noticeably slower, missed characters when keys weren't hit dead on, was harder to separate when you just wanted to use the iPad on it's own and it was also quite heavy due to it's full metal body making the combo feel a lot like carrying a laptop. Because of the battery improvement of the I5 and how it compared to the Brydge I am moving the rating up to 3 stars. I still don't trust it for the long term though.

Only works for Ipad Air & a very old version of this keyboard
Thought this would work for my Air 2, but the slot that the ipad sits in was too wide. I knew it wouldn't be perfect (made for older Ipad Air) but I was trying to replace my current Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic keyboard that was damaged. It seems that the keyboard that is intended for the Air 2 is no longer in production (I've been looking everywhere). This version of keyboard does not allow you to adjust the viewing angle (like my current one does), but I was hoping it would still do the trick. When I received the keyboard, it was damaged and not firmly sealed around the front. So forget it. I sent back & was promptly refunded my money... so very impressed with that!

Great little keyboard for the price
Great little keyboard for the price, very responsive and the iPad sits nicely in the magnetic groove then covers the iPad and protects it as a cover. The rechargeable battery has lasted so far 2 months so liking that I don’t have to constantly charge it.

Nice one. Arrived in good time and onditon
Nice one. Arrived in good time and onditon. Using it almost everyday with no major issue. The bluetooth button is a liitle loose but that is not creating any problem. A good roduct for the money.
