Making vases
I was not impressed at all. It did not come with the AC adapter, and I was not prepared with 4 D batteries. The product looks cheap and I really don't think it is suited for 10 and over. Would not consider it again.

Clay Looks Good
We have not given the wheel or the refill to our 10 year old granddaughter yet since it's for Christmas, but I must say that the clay in the refill is quite adequate and looks good. I would recommend the clay for purchase.

Too hard and dry paintings
It was really dissapointing. We bought this refill because we couldnt find the onw we were looking for. The clay is extremely hard for a 9 year old girl to do it and the paintings were are all dry. Waste of money!

not worth the time and money.
My daughter wanted this for her birthday and she attempted to use it one time and she gave up on it. The battery motor is very weak and the device is not worth your money or time.
